so ggg has to concede everything for the fight to happen? I thought ward was the one who is supposed to be calling for the fight? If GGG has to move up then he should not also be forced to concede 'more' in negotiations.

it's not calling for the fight if he is demanding GGG move up AND take the lesser cut to boot. Ward has to give something too, either weight or money...

These guys are always citing Golovkin when saying: "I'll fight anyone from 154 to 168 (or 175)"... But these guys fail to remember that Golovkin never stated that he will fight under any circumstances, anytime, anywhere and and for free...

they just want to see him lose under any circumstances. Ward is the only guy from 154-168 they think can do it hence they keep pushing it. And if it's at full 168 in oakland with GGG getting peanuts in the process all the better.

We all know this, Edwin Rodriguez. Even Team Golovkin knows it.

That's why they are willing to go to 168 to fight everyone except Andre Ward.

How long does Ward have to be out of the ring for his title and ranking to be taken away? This is getting ridiculous. I agree he has world class skill but he hasn't fought in ages. If GGG and Ward were to meet sometime down the road, I'd still give the nod to GGG. Ward is a slicker boxer and counter puncher but I truly don't believe he has elite level power and GGG's elite level power and ring cutting off ability should be the difference. The only top ranked fighter he KO'd was Chad Dawson late in their fight when Dawson was tired and was arguably on his way out of contention. Ward had something to do with that but look at Dawson's last fight. He couldn't even beat Tommy Karpency! Ward will not be able to dance and jab forever. GGG will walk right through his jabs.

Ward knocks this hyped up dude out in 8-10 rds easy. Ward have harder sparring sessions then this fight with hype Golovkin...

GGG moving up to fight Ward is equivalent to MW moving up to fight Canelo and Cotto. No big deal. Ward will school him either way.

If Ward's so keen on weight hopping, why doesn't he make the move to 175Lb?
