Certainly would be an interesting fight, no denying it.
Yes, Edwin Rodriguez isn't qualified to assess such things...
... I still maintain that the only one (Russian) who could "handle" Andre Ward, to date, is Beterbiev...
... The guy doesn't need much space in order to hit hard... I say this because Ward doesn't give much space to anyone...

This is a very winnable fight for Ward and one that he would have looked great in. I hope the Roc Nation rumor turns out to be true.

... winnable... he would have... he should have... etc...

... But actually what Ward is actually doing about making this fight?
... I mean actually, not virtually... Facts, not talk...

Challenger vs Champion scenario, GGG would need to move up to 168 and conceed more in negotiations. But most importantly Initiate the negotiations. HBO might push this too. GGG is blasting 160's out easily, when will criticism start for him not wanting to challenge himself in bigger divisions.

It would be a high wire act for Ward but I would pick him for sure. His style is just right for the job, and he's physically strong enough to work Golovkin over on the inside too.

But if Golovkin carries his power up the scales then it's an interesting fight. He's a very precise puncher and a creative offensive boxer, different to your usual power puncher. I don't have any doubt that he could clip Ward, and if he finds a way to do it regularly then it's a different fight.

You don't answer my question... I've asked: what Ward is actually doing about making this fight?... I didn't ask what anybody elses would need to do... We all know what they would need to do... What we don't know is what Andre Ward (the A side) is actually doing, other than calling Golovkin in the media from time to time.

Ward isn't doing anything except talking because he can't do anything except talk. If he just fulfilled his contract, he probably would be finishing it up by now.
