Please, I know we're a rare bread of boxing fans on this board. But some of us actually have common sense.

It's something you probably won't understand though.
    Powerful retort. 1-2m lolllll

Which other guys? Chavez and Degale?

Well for those guys it doesn't matter who they beat. Degale has fought on PPV in the UK against Groves and is a Olympic Gold medalist and therefore infinitely more known than Golovkin is.

Chavez was in one of the biggest fights of the year in WORLD boxing not too long ago, so his profile and following is also infinitely bigger than GGGs.
You talked about being deserving of the payday by having beaten solid comp. Now that no longer matters. Make up your mind already "massive GGG fan"

        What does that even mean?

        Keep in mind, it's £ I'm talking, not $.

So $3-5m for a GGG fight for Froch is definitely about as much as he can get.

          Oh god.

Listen, some people are stars. and some people aren't stars.

People want to pay to see stars fight. And people don't want to pay to see non-stars fight.

It's simple. Until GGG is a star that people want to PAY to watch, he'll have to DESERVE his shot.

Does that make sense to you?

The pot is not big enough to make Froch-Golovkin.

Just like it's not big enough for Ward-Golovkin.

20 pages and you're still pretending not to understand this.

It's impossible to follow this guy's circles

So based entirely on the fact that you're riding Golovkin's **** and not Froch's, GGG "probably" wants to fight Ward and Froch "probably" doesn't want to fight GGG.

                Comical!
Golovkin is clearly in a different situation than Froch. Golovkin is building his brand whereas Froch has established his, at least in the uk. Froch wants the big fight in Las Vegas, that fight seems to be Chavez because he brings the most money to the table. I'm not against that fight, it will likely be a good and interesting fight and both men will earn good money for it. My problem is with Froch and his supporters claiming that he will fight anyone and that somehow the glory is the most important factor. Clearly it is not. Hearn said Froch wants a challenge, and yet Froch wants Chavez rather than Golovkin. Clearly Froch wants the limelight and the money. I'm saying fine but don't claim anything else apart from that. The biggest challenge is there but he'd rather the money.

Golovkin would be ducking Ward at the monent. Ward is making it easy for him by not being in a position to fight anyway. I wholeheartdely concede that Golovkin would likely be ducking Ward at present even if Ward was in a position to fight. Golovkin doesn't want Ward yet, but i'm sure he does want him at some point. Froch does not want Golovkin. He wants Chavez then retirement.

You'd think Froch at this point is big enough that a UK fight with the hottest name in boxing would be pretty big. Guess not, the UK scene might be too provincial.

Otoh on the other end the A-sider is asking the other guy to make an offer, since he brings no money himself. And the B-sider is nowhere near able to satisfy the A-sider's purse requirements. It's an unusual request anyway

Lets say GGG is scared to go up in weight and face p4p #2. That's nowhere as bad as being scared of a smaller guy who's beaten nobody, just cause he punches like a mule. I thought Froch was a warrior, but now that I think about it, not so sure.

I don't pretend that Froch will just fight anyone for any old money just to get glory. That's an extremely childish and naive outlook to have. Only probable ******* like Foreign Soil still think that way.

Once again, Froch will fight anyone as long as he gets what he and the fight is worth. If the Golovkin fight paid more than the Chavez fight then I'm sure he'd take it.
