Without a known name on his resume nobody will be calling for the fight except hardcore fans.

    What say you??
Thurman's management team is steering him away from any fighter with a pulse. The man has more than 20 fights and he is still fighting journeymen or guys who no one has ever heard of. That is a sign that his management team doesn't think he is very good and is protecting him.

You still have the people who has a ducking list for Floyd

      1. Pacquiao
      2. GGG
      3. Khan

No need to add Thurman to that list, dude to me is no more threating than Marcos Maidana or Canelo Alvarez.

And Thurman doesn't need a title to be supported as a Mayweather contender, he just needs a LOYAL fan base, and no not just those on forums.
He needs the ones that show up like the Maidana, Alvarez and GGG fans.
You forgot to add Andre Ward and the Klitchkos to the list.

Thurman is being put in a position where he could fight for a title against Brook, after that he will be on the map

Just steer Thurman into fighting anyone who isn't washed up/crap to begin with so we can see if he's any good.

He kind of reminds me of a mini Haye. Their styles are somewhat similar and they both have girl hair.

Most of all though they're racking up wins against past-its and never-weres with no definitive wins while a small vocal group of fans pretend they're ready to dethrone an ATG.

Keith Thurman needs to proove himself before, get a notable name, why can't his team get a decent name? hes not a devastating amazing fighter, hes one dimensional.

Nobody cares about Floyd Mayweather right now until he faces a big name, there are so many big names out there he can fight with and it would be a great fight.

Nobody wants a Mayweather-thurman or mayweather-khan or mayweather garcia. All those fighters either have not earned it or or has a glass chin.

Thurman hasn't done enough and doesn't bring anything to the table..

Yes it would be awesome for us hardcore fans but let Thurman fight and beat someone like porter, brooks, ghost, Maidana, etc. get a win like that before he can seriously be considered for a Floyd fight

Obviously. Thurman has been kept away from Showtime hypes and will continue to be until the time is right. Sad.
