Clearly false, but par for the course for that poster. Most GGG detractors in fact claim he hasn't accomplished much, but whatever works.
He hasn't accomplished much. I'm not blaming him, because it's really not his fault, but his resume would be laughed at if a guy like Canelo had it.

I don't think Canelo would be laughed at if he was demolishing best available comp in his weight class regularly. The knock on Canelo was that he was protected. You had all these guys lining up and he was fighting scrubs. He's more than shed that rap, the new knock is he's failing to look impressive against top level comp.

All of that is fair as well. With that said, golovkin has beaten the people he was supposed to beat. He hasnt fought one A class guy yet. Until that time, it's hard to say he's an accomplished fighter. No matter how impressive his talent is and no matter how great he's looked. You can't assume anything in boxing, and u certainly can't assume greatness even though plenty around here do it. I'm totally convinced he's the best middle weight in the world. But what does that mean at this point?

Yeah, because Canelo has had PPV-level star power for awhile now even if he only debuted on PPV in 2013.

If Canelo had Golovkin's résumé, people "would laugh at it" because it would be inexcusable, as Canelo can fight whomever he wants, so we would expect more. If Canelo shouts out your name, basically you run to the nearest notary and sign the contract.

GGG doesn't have that kind of economic power to get whomever wherever (at least not yet)

Which is my point. He hasn't accomplished anything. The resumes remain the same, u switch the fighters and it becomes less impressive. That says nothing about why he hasn't but it still stands.

Yeah I agree, I wouldn't have him top 5 p4p. Even top 10 is iffy, but he's so damn dominant vs contender level comp, in a weak weight class granted. But Sergio was p4p till recently, not looking so great vs same level comp

GGG would literally kill Mayweather in the ring, and he weighs less than Canelo. That should make him P4P #1 by the fickle P4P standard.

Oh yeah that just makes perfect sense

Golovkin weighed 173 on Saturday the heaviest Canelo has been is 174 I think and he hasn't been that heavy in hi last few fights.

Golovkin is obviously bigger than Canelo.

The unofficial weights can be with clothes on and that's most likely why GGG was 173. He comes into camp weighing less than that. Canelo is heavier, no doubt.

Golovkin has to deal with Adrien Broner first. And IF Golovkin manages to get by Broner, maybe then he can start thinking of getting in the Lion's Den with Money May
