This post should have ended this nonsense .......

GGG should be targeting 1.) Guys who are in his weight class 2.) better competition at his weight or higher.

Only within the NSB twilight zone of hypocrisy and double-standards, would this BS even be up for discussion.

GGG is p4p number 1 If both were welters GGG would still smash him

Floyd has held a SWW belt for 2.5 years +. He's paying the sanctioning fees, and has appealed to keep it when threatened to be stripped. He's a 2x, unified, lineal, reigning SWW champ. GGG is not asking him to move up, just to back up his credentials at SWW.

You're missing my point .... The fight (Floyd, GGG) cannot happen because of contractual obligations among other things. Adding some specifics to the mix, Floyd won the LMW belt from Canelo fighting as a WW -- GGG has been campaigning as a MW since 2008 and no lighter than a LMW since he turned Pro.

What would be a better fight (Two guys of equal size) is Jacobs and GGG, or Cotto and GGG, especially since Cotto is campaigning as a MW. And even better to add to the mix would be Canelo, who is already campaigning as a MW undercover.

GGG has to actually beat a quality opponent to claim that spot. Beating journeymen and faded former champion will not get you the #1P$P ranking.

No one with any sense would accuse Mayweather's last five opponents of being cherrypicked journeymen and faded former champions. Anyone with any sense would say this about GGG's last five opponents.

You are saying that Floyd, who started his career at 130, should fight a bigger opponent than the ones he has been fighting to satisfy your desire to see him get beat. A real boxing fan is saying that GGG should move up in weight to fight one of several quality opponents waiting for him at 168. Your argument carries absolutely no weight.

Anybody who has accomplished anything close to what GGG has in the last 20 years has moved up in weight to fight bigger and better competition. GGG wants to move down in weight to fight smaller competition or wants smaller competition to move up in weight to fight him. GGG is a gutless coward for not seeking out better at a higher weight instead of begging smaller guys to fight him.
