Smaller guy for once? when was the last time Mayweather weighed heavier than his opponent in the ring?

Golvokin was 173 lbs last night he should be thinking about SMW not targeting Welterweights who weigh 150 in the ring.

And Canelo routinely weighs 172 on fight night, but Floyd fought him

My wish list for Golovkin:

(1) Take the crown from the guy who is (arguably) the uncrowned lineal MW champ (Murray) in February

(2) Fight James Kirkland (that'd just be fun) in May

(3) Fight the Canelo / Cotto winner for the REAL MW lineage on Mexican Independence Day in September

(4) If he wins that, then with the MW lineage and having cleaned out the division, get his feet wet at 168, maybe vs. Chavez Jr.

(5) Fight Andre Ward in a showdown for elite P4P status

Difference is Canelo fights 154lbers and that's where he's been for some time. Golovkins fights 160 lbers and he knocked out a smw. U can say they weigh the same but they do not fight at the same weight nor do they fight the same sized guys.

GGG has what it take, perhaps instead of cherry picking, Mayweather can end his career with a GGG fight, why not be the smaller guy for once?

You are saying that Floyd, who started his career at 130, should fight a bigger opponent than the ones he has been fighting to satisfy your desire to see him get beat. A real boxing fan is saying that GGG should move up in weight to fight one of several quality opponents waiting for him at 168. Your argument carries absolutely no weight.

Anybody who has accomplished anything close to what GGG has in the last 20 years has moved up in weight to fight bigger and better competition. GGG wants to move down in weight to fight smaller competition or wants smaller competition to move up in weight to fight him. GGG is a gutless coward for not seeking out better at a higher weight instead of begging smaller guys to fight him.

Well Hagler didn't really have a division to move up to.

Hopkins should have moved to 168 everyone wanted him to.

Ward should move up aswell people are asking for that also.
