Look at the real fight ob the card tonight. Walters damn near got KO'd by an inferior fighter going for broke. But when he sat back, worked behind his jab, and took advantage of Donaire's mistakes, broke him down, and stopped him.

As for entertainment. I'm a fan of the art of boxing. What Ward did to Dawson was beautiful. Nothing in boxing is more entertaining than what Rigondeaux did to Donaire. The common denominator is that it was done to top fighters. GGG is an excellent fighter. But I can't get excited watching him dismantle suck ass fighters. Sorry.
So in one paragraph you call Nonito an inferior fighter, and in another paragraph you call him a top fighter??

If you like the art of boxing more power to you. I'm sure you're a fan of Miguel Vasquez too, and love to watch all his fights as well. I and most of the fans here love to be entertained. We appreciate great boxing, but we also like top fighters to take care of business. Watching guys cruise to UD just because they can is not entertaining. It's the reason GGG a fighter from a country few can point out on a map, can fight in NYC and LA and sell well, while Ward sells only in Oakland.

No if he had stayed under control the fight goes the distance. Nothing in their history proves he would've stopped him, especially if he's looking to counter Marquez. He had most of his success being an aggressive fighter not sitting back and trying to outbox a fighter tactically superior to him. A boxing intellectual genius like you should know that.

Why don't fighters just blitz these guys that hit with no intention of hurting their opponent. Mares-Moreno is what happens when you don't try and hurt a guy. Guys like Floyd, Ward, Rigo, Hopkins, etc ar doing something to keep guys off of them.

Rubio lost that fight after the first time he got clobbered. Right then and there he knew he needed a hail mary and maria wasn't around this saturday. Let's see if Cotto avoids or takes the challenge. I'd pay ppv to see him bludgeon Cotto.

Donaire was the inferior fighter in the ring tonight. He was the reigning FOTY and concenses P4P elite when he fought Rigo.

So you have to be sitting back looking to counter to be under control? Pac fought completely inder control against Oscar. He led with that straight left hand lead all night, broke Oscar down, and beat him into submission. He didn't respect JMM's power and got caught being reckless.

Cotto is probably going to fight Canelo in May. I'd say GGG should focus his efforts on getting Chavez Jr. in the ring with him. Maybe the winner of Stieglitz/Sturm.

                    Haha@maria.

Ya man that punch was absolutely brutal, it looked like he got hit on top of his head with a sledgehammer it crushed his head. He knew it was pointless even trying. Rubio can punch and hit him clean a few times, didn't even faze him.

Oscar and JMM are two completely different fighters. Your post is invalid. He tried to be under control in the third fight and got thoroughly outboxed for large stretched of the fight. The fact you think a Pacquiao "under control " ko's Marquez speaks badly about your boxing intellect. The closest he came to the ko was the first fight, that version of Pacquiao was anything but under control.
