  • Rubio did a great job at giving us another good example of mexican boxing.

I've come to the conclusion that some people are just filled with pure hate and racism (from all cultures). My parents are Mexican and I had the opportunity to be born in the good ole' US of A. I love my culture but that doesn't mean it should translate to all aspects of my life, especially my passion for boxing. People... please leave that b.s. racist **** behind you. It is ok to be a fan of a boxer that doesn't share your culture; we are all of the same race, the human race!

I swear there is so many keyboard warriors out there, by all means if you feel you can do a better job, please go out there and get in the ring and see how well you do. I do not understand how some fans have the nerve to call a boxer a bum or say they have no heart? If you are one of these people then you are not a true fan of boxing. Unless you have fought world class fighters for 12 rounds (45 minutes), hell if you have fought anyone in the ring for 45 minutes you have no room to talk. If you have done this then you should know better; the amount of preparation and training to be even ok is extremely hard, I cant imagine the sacrifice these guys go through to fight on the world stage. If you are not a fan of a particular boxer that is ok, but you shouldn't judge his/her character or heart because of what you saw sitting on your ass drinking a beer as if you can do better.

What is not to like about GGG? He is exciting, he wants to clean out his division and become a true champion, he is very humble, he is appreciative of his fans, he is classy in victory, he is clean cut, he stays out of trouble, and above all else he is a good boy. How often do you have an athlete like this? This is someone that stays above all the b.s. and stays grounded, but that doesn't seem to be enough. I guess you just can't make some people happy. Maybe he hasn't beat everyone, but he is doing pretty good if you ask me. No need to hate or act as if you know he would lose against another fighter. If you watch boxing you know that until the two get in the ring no one knows what truly might happen. That is the beauty of boxing! All the big fights will come eventually and we will see if he truly is the best, but until then just sit back and enjoy the show.
This post should be posted in in every single thread.

Rigo's 12th pro fight was against the reigning FOTY and concensus top 5 P4P. GGG been a pro nearly a decade and his best win is Daniel Geale. Me thinx one of them is entitled to a cab driver every now and then. And its not the one being deep throated for beating Rubio.

i think somewhere in between,is a happy medium.

My opinion differs on the activity issue. My stance is that if a top fighter isn't fighting legit comp, I couldn't care less if they're fighting or not. But I realize I'm on the minority on that.

I don't consider Algeri a cab driver, nor do I have a problem with the fight. Its not worth my PPV dollar$. But I consider it an acceptable stay-busy fight for Pac.
