I hadn't thought about this either, the manager just may be a ****ing idiot and impossible to work with and Chavez kicked him to the curb.

This is a good sign that he's going to resolve things soon. His manager was the one who really had issues with Arum. Looks like the Froch fight is a REAL possibility.

Did he part ways with his manager or did Haymon buy his manager out?

Personally I'd rather see him sign with Arum and make the Froch fight. Him signing with Haymon seems likely to trigger a bunch of career-stalling lawsuits.

He's with Arum now, and suing him, and his career is stalled, just like Mikey Garcia. I haven't seen many fighters suing Haymon, and with Arum, the list is a mile long.

from what ive read joke jrs' fan base is dwindling.
                theyve been ridiculed so much.
so whether or not he's a big future draw or not may be in question.

butt he would make for a good staybusy fight for GGG.

The reason Arum is being sued is to get out of their contract, it's never worked. Even Gamboa needed 50 cent to cover his legal fee's and pay Bob money to let him go. You think Haymon is going to pay money to Arum in order sign a fighter?

arum has been a lawyer. and knows how to cover his ass and legitimately take advantage of these nim num head boxers and their legal help.
its the boxers associates fault for not understanding the fine print in these contracts.

That's a fair point. But I could easily see Haymon pay Chavez money to not fight and wait out his contract with Arum.
