If Vitali didnt get cut vs. Lewis

If only it had of been "clean, effective punching" that caused any of those cuts, then there would be a relevant point that Lewis could have beaten Vitali really.
But he didn't. Those swiping shots pulled by an overwhelmed Lennox were nothing less than fortunate to have caused such cuts.
Hence, Vitali could have always beaten Lennox under any normal circumstances.
Just so happens that on the night, that special star shone in his sky and the cards favoured him.
Anyone can see that by watching the fight. I can't see how anyone can really have it differently.
VK beat the crap out of him without even too much difficulty (disregarding that cut).

I still can't believe there are people who saw the fight differently. Lennox was getting to him, and Vitali was on his way to getting stopped. Vitali actually got saved by the cuts.
To answer the question, Vitali would've been KO'd.
That fight is what actually made me appreciate Lennox.

Every official agreed. The crowd agreed. The cards agreed.
For me the video evidence is conclusive. You cannot see a single instance where Lewis got more than a single clean shot it here or there amongst the wallopings he took.
It's clear. Vitali beat the hell out of Lewis and was clearly set to be stopped himself.
Vitali was eager to continue despite the cut and full of energy.
Lennox was interviewed second and STILL was completely out of breath and looked totally relieved it was over.
Later he threw in the towel after witnessing the destruction of top contender Johnson in 2 rounds, another would be Lewis beater.
Lewis counted his "lucky" stars and wanted no part of that. Times change, there was a new kid on the block and he didn't care about antics or hype. He punched holes straight through hype.
I'd say there's not really even room for debate!

Lewis was shook.he felt real power from a real man, decided 6 rounds was enough,no desire for another singular round as he was still suffering trauma from first fight.like a scared child he hid under his bed and called to his momma 'tell them I quit,I am no longer a boxer'
Lewis tried to be all man after the fight claiming Vitali could have the rematch, but he clearly didnt want it.before his swift u turn and hightailling,in his fear he devised a plan that would curtail any talk of a possible fight,he decided to eat everything he ever saw, with cheese on it.
