When Pacquiao was 26 he had beat Barrera, Ledwaba, Sanchez, Sasakul and was just going into his first fight with Marquez.

Floyd was 26 and had fought Jesus Chavez, Castillo x2, Corrales, Manfredy, Hernandez, Ndou.

Andre Ward at age 26 had fought Bika, Green, Kessler, Miranda, Abraham and would've been heading into a fight with Froch.

Even Alvarez will have fought Floyd (who isn't prime but is still better than any prime fighter out there), Lara, Angulo, Trout and likely Cotto by the time he is 25.

Cotto would have just fought Margarito, beaten Mosley, Judah, Quintana, Malignaggi, Ricardo Torres, Bailey, Maussa and Ndou.

Age isn't an excuse when you have been champion that long.
I respect your post and agree with you. But people give DSG too much of a hard time because of his last two fights. I would like to add that since 2011, swift wasnt fighting turkeys. From 2011, DSG fought Nate Campbell, Kendall Holt, Erik Morales, Amir Khan, Erik Morales, Zab Judah, Lucas Mattyssee, Herrerra and Rod Salka. Is that murderers row? No. But my point it, DSG fought either current or former world champs, during his run from contender to Champ. I say give swift a break for now. But if he continues to fight subpar competition, then let's roast him.

The excuse for not knowing who postol is is ridiculous. He is your mandatory, so not knowing who he is is not an excuse to not fight him.

Agree with what u say, i dont think much of postol and garcia not fighting him is no big deal, the thing is he says he as a champ has to face decent fighters, he cant face easy fighter after easy fighter,he already faced lucas which is good but he shouldnt be facing 3 or 4 nobodies in a row, but even though i dont think postol is all that he shouldnt get criticized for facing his mandatory, he doesnt rank them

The Postol fight is just WHAT EVER for me, if it happens OK if not I could careless, I would much rather see either Herrera get his rematch or Matthysse

If Provodnikov is moving to Showtime MAKE THAT FIGHT! Sorry but once you beat Khan and Matthysse and get to the Top at 140, there is no going back to SOFT OPPONENTS! You have to take on either Mandatory's or other Top Opponents in your Division
Totally agree, but I had a feeling that he wasn't going to fight Postol. This stuff is becoming predictable with Al Haymon fighters.

Nate campbell, morales, judah, were all done when he faced them, khan was in his prime and lucas too, i guess its like u say at the end, IF he fights nothing but stiffs in his next couple of fights of course its bad,but lets wait and see ehat he foes, if he fights a decent opponent people will forget about salka, and i hope its not peterson people talk about him like hes such a great fighter, he got ko'd by mathyssee and barely beat khan, two fighters danny already beat

Other than Matthyese, who has Garcia fought that is as good as Lundy? Certainly not washed up guys like Morales and Judah.

Postol would beat Dannys ass. It'll be like Herrera 2

People need to let Danny breathe, and quit acting like MOST of the top fighters didn't have a few soft touches at some point. Look at ATG's like Leonard, Hearns, Chavez etc. Theirs quite a few "salka's on there. His ultimate goal is to obviously get big fights and I'm sure he will soon. People need to be patient, before Salka he was coming off of a very tough schedule. And isn't Herrera champion now?

I'd argue that the still in shape version of Holt that Danny beat could catch the unfocused version of Lundy that Postal beat at some point in the fight.

What makes you say that Lundy was "unfocused"?
