Well, not really, cos he's mainly fought out of Russia, but the win over Aydin was second feature the JMM - Alvarado card and he's certainly now regarded as a top 10 JWW. Just depends how closely you follow the sport or the division.

He ain't hugely well known, but he was the first guy to stop Aydin (and dominated him far more thoroughly than Guerrero or Soto Karass) so the win garnered him a bit of attention.

FWIW he also beat a very old DeMarcos Corley and, more impressively, Hank Lundy.

If you missed Alvarado vs JMM, though, there probably isn't much other reason you would have heard of him.

I like having "Swift" in boxing though cause I mean at this point he has shown his true colors time and time again. Much like mayweaher its just hilarious to watch them flaunt this false bravado and meanwhile be the laughing stock of boxing. The Postol fight is just WHAT EVER for me, if it happens OK if not I could careless, I would much rather see either Herrera get his rematch or Matthysse

If Provodnikov is moving to Showtime MAKE THAT FIGHT! Sorry but once you beat Khan and Matthysse and get to the Top at 140, there is no going back to SOFT OPPONENTS! You have to take on either Mandatory's or other Top Opponents in your Division

I can't look at Danny's resume and comfortably say he's ducking anything, least of all a mandatory defense against a guy who's best win is Henry Lundy :/

i'd like to see garcia move up and face alexander,thurman,or guerrero. if not the fight L. peterson. gacia has made his mark at 140. he can't make the weight anymore. either you and peterson do a catch weight at 144 or go to 147.
