I subscribe to this point of view: Ward is able to annihilate Golovkin by staying glued onto Golovkin chest and mimicking that "old school inside boxing"... (GGG needs space in order to load... As I said above: among the Russians, Beterbiev would be the worst matchup for Ward, because he loves engaging from close range...)

This would be a huge step up in competition for Gennady. To my knowledge, I can't think of any fighter he has remotely challenged who'd resembled the fighting style or ability of an Andre Ward.
