Really nice way of telling someone this win wasn't that hard and your career is done.

Good fight. Ref could've let it continue but why have a man who is getting beaten up and dominated take more punishment than necessary.

No, the referee can't let it continue when a fighter can't stand up on his own.

Sometimes stopping a fight too early will hurt a fighter more than stopping it too late. Because of this loss we'll probably never see Donaire on HBO again. His career might be over because it got stopped.

I'm not talking about the rules or the referee's powers. I already know what they are, i've been posting here for 5 years. I'm saying I believe he should have been given a chance.

The referee was also within his rights of stopping this fight.

Idk who you are and idk if you're a Donaire fan but you need to stop it.

Chico was getting up on sturdy legs unlike Donaire. Who couldnt even sit down on his own. If I remember correctly, the ref was hesitant to wave it off but he saws Donaire's face/eyes.

That last sequence shows some very impressive defensive moves from Walters, his defense isn't flashy and easy to spot but he does some nice and subtle things in there on the defensive sides.

            Feel for Donaire.

He's done a lot in his career.

The Axeman was just too much for him.

              really excited about walters' career.

he seemed down to the muscle and bone at 126, so maybe we'll see him at 30 and 35 soon. 138 lbs in the ring, too. not the biggest FW we've seen, but certainly not small. 5'7", 73 inch reach [according to HBO.]

frankly, i'm not sure i believe the figure on that 73 inch reach. that's freaking enormous for a 5'7" featherweight.

Me too, his power is very impressive.

He's got raw power because to me his punches don't look like they're hard but clearly they are very hard.

He's very beatable but I look forward to an exciting career.

boy was I wrong, damn!! haha..Donaire got his azz kicked last night. I didn't think Walters' had it in him to rise to the occasion but he did. He really did his homework on Donaire and had a very smart gameplan.

Walters is going to take some stopping. To beat Donaire the way he did it, i.e. walking him down and beating him up, was hugely impressive.

I loved the translation in Walters' corner after the 2nd. Corner was asking him if he was alright after Donaire staggering him and he goes "Are you crazy? Yeah I'm alright."

                      That was quality
