The only controversy was the ridiculous score turned in by the obviously corrupt judge that awarded the decision to De la Hoya...

Just obviously by as fast as Floyd.

Obviously he's a much bigger puncher than Floyd.
yea,,,,,I agree with that. Floyd did have the edge in speed

well,,,,it was a fairly close fight so I wouldn't go as far saying it was corrupt. mayweather did clearly win tho in my view by a couple rounds but not everyone scores rounds by the same criteria

Just take a look at the punch stats. Tell me if you think they were fairly close. That fight was not close.

punch stats can be misleading and aren't everything

Fair enough. But the stats were very indicative of what actually happened in the fight.

well,,,,,I thought mayweather won a close fight. were just going to have to agree to disagree on the details. they have more than one judge for a reason. not everyone sees fights the same way

                • De la hoya would beat Mayweather if he was still in his prime and he would destroy mrs.pac in his prime.

                    Disagree Big time !!!

Oscar has always had slow feat, and he has a crap of right hand and I mean a crap of a right hand.. It no secret that Oscar could not break and egg with his right hand and his bread and butter punch was his left hand.

It was not until Floyd Sr worked on Oscar right hand that it became some what decent.

So with that said a younger Floyd would have been to mobile and has a excellent defense against the left hook. With out a right hand Oscar would have found it very difficult to setup the left hook against Floyd. If floyd has nothing to fear from you right, it make it more difficult to score that punch.
