Beat everybody he's faced except P4P#1 fighter in the world. Still fought him, green as hell at 22-years old. When other young top fighters like Danny Garcia ran as far away from the fight as possible.

Cracked Trouts jaw, which never was the same.

Turned Lara from a "slick boxer" into a guy terrified for his life with his eyebrow split open like the red-sea.

Made Josesito Lopez and Angulo look like a fly being swatted by a newspaper. Who are both very game fighters.

Toyed with a (old) HOF boxer Mosely.

Everything else is irrelevant prior to these fights. It was tomato can soup before that.

Won a title, and told Lara to keep his paper champ belt.

And this was all by the young age of 23-years old.

    *drops the mic, walks away.*

Please name ONE fighter that's 24 or younger that has fought the same level of competition as Canelo.

The only two I can think of are Juan Francisco Estrada and Francisco Rodriguez Jr., who also happen to be Mexican, .

Damn good resume and I think he'll continue to progress, I like that he is more of a body puncher now, not that he ever wasn't. I don't understand the how his name even got this big, seemed to have come out of no where. I remember rumors about Mayweather possibly facing him in Mexico when he was 18 or 19 (Can't remember), I pretty much ignored that. He hit the scene, I really liked what I saw and became a fan of his. Very good fundamentals, his biggest issue is...he could use some foot speed. Also needs to learn how to let off punches on the move, too dependent on waiting to get his footing right.

I thought Lara won pretty clearly and the Trout fight was a toss-up. Then there is the boxing lesson from Mayweather.

He beat a washed up Shane, battered a faded Angulo and the rest of his wins are meh.

Still, the only fight he has been totally outclassed in was against Mayweather.

Finally one person with sense. Even if you hate the dude you can't discredit what he did by 23 years old (He turned 24 after the Lara fight).

Let me break down his resume............Canelo's resume is frivolous he has a blatant gift vs Tyner people seem to want to ignore, he struggled and underwhelmed vs Hatton, nearly got dropped by Jose Cotto and expect him to beat Miguel, he got bloodied and outworked to the finish line by a completely shot Mosley, Trout win was contested, he got beat into a fetal position by a small WW and quit basically vs Floyd, GB ****ery saved him when the fight started vs Angulo, and he nearly lost Lara who was only throwing like 10 punches a round........................

His names mean nothing he's all smoke and mirrors, plus from watching him closely his power is suspect, he aint have at WW and he only really showed it vs a JWW in Lopez..........

Bottom line is he's a completely average fighter, and his tape proves this time and time again
You remind me of those posters who load up all their anger into hating Mayweather or Pacquiao, except this is unique since it's Canelo. I'm guessing I'm gonna see more of this once Canelo continues to establish himself.

His resume is right where it needs to be, he hasnt ducked anyone, every possible name he could have fought he fought or tried to fight.

And about his tainted wins as you put it, it means nothing that some people thought lara, trout or feel some type of way about the angulo win, Canelo offically got the win and is you poll it up more people think Canelo legit beat all those guys only a few loud demographic believes to the contrary.

Its well above average for a 24 year old fighter.

He's still ducking Vanes Martirosyan though, . I remember Vanes used to talk some wild s**t about Canelo, when Canelo was like 12 years old, .

I hope Canelo beats his a$$ on regular HBO sometime next year.
