They needed some dumb looking characters for the background -- then they asked Ortiz and Rhonda.

Right? He talks about an opponent needing PPV numbers to "earn" their shot with him...but then made every other excuse imaginable to avoid Pacquiao - the other biggest PPV star of this era.

This is true, but he can only do that once. Like you say, Floyd's selling power depends upon the possibility of seeing him lose. Once he loses his earning power collapses.

Floyd ain't never fighting this dude, nor should he have to.. It's a ridiculous fight that only Floyd haters wanna see...
Let Floyd fight dudes around his own weight class and not looking for the biggest dude with the best chance to beat him...

Guerrero was his mandatory and had some wins That at the time was considered big. Ortiz also, plus he was the WBC champ so he was unifying. Easy to say now about Ortiz, but at the time he was considered a legit threat. Who has GGG beaten? Geale? What is he ranked in your P4P list? Is he top 30? 40 even? That, only 800k views, and he's a natural middleweight, is he worth the risk?
