i can't see it. i don't think anybody can motivate him to throw more. they're several years too late to change him. you really can't teach an old dog new tricks in boxing. real changes that trainers make take years and years. dawson just doens't have htat kind of itme. he's a stepping stone now.

Dawson is done for... Nothing is gonna bring him back to the level where he was..
He is just flat out there, and i never thought he had a very high Ring IQ, so with his aging and losing a step, cracked chin, and not a good ring general, it think will be tough for him to ever get back into contention..Comment

It was a close but clear Dawson win in my opinion. The loss won't really change much. Karpency will be somebody's cupcake opponent and Chad can continue towards his final run.Comment

Dawson just never had his heart in boxing. It's amazing that he is talented enough to school Hopkins but you can tell in interviews the fire was just never there.Comment

Chad should hang em' up. He has always been a remarkable talent with NO FIRE WHATSOEVER. He's had a good career but I don't think he has the mentality required to be a great boxer. I'm not even sure Chad likes to punch people.Comment
