Saw the fight, very unspirited effort by Chad. Gaurded his chin all night & still got rocked!!

Dawson needed this W. If he could've pulled it off he would've been back in the title hunt. This is a major set back. For every L you need at least 3 key wins. Dawson needs to take his frustration back in the gym and get right physically and mentally. He shouldn't give up he's only a couple of fights away from a title shot. Get some key wins. I would start with the loser of the Pascal fight. Get that W, then go after Kovalev regardless if he wins or lose against BHop.
Too me, he seems to be in that slump that many boxers go through. He can rebound just like many of them do. It looked like Dawson was fighting based on his level of competition. He needs to have more of a killer instinct. Don't give the opponent any confidence and don't leave it in the hands of the judges or you may not get the decision victory. Dawson can be Light Heavyweight champ. It's there for the taking but he has to want it more than his opponent. Only then will he get the title again.

He haven't been any good since leaving Floyd Sr. and his reason for leaving Floyd Sr was apparently because he was "TOO HARD ON HIM" and did not want Dawson family around while he is training so he could stay focus

So now that lack of discipline was/is his downfall. Chad Dawson did this to himself, he got to the Top at Light Heavyweight, got lazy, started changing trainers every 2-3 fights

It is flat out EMBARRASSING to see a Talent like that sink so low in his career. Really this guy was like the opening fight on Porter vs Brook and even this fight he was the first fight on Showtime for a triple heard Mainevent but a up and coming fighter

I WAS a big fan but I don't feel sorry for him falling so far in his career, he did this **** to himself. Lets see how his stories finish if it is not finished already, lets see if he can get his a$$ back up or will he continue to fall and because a Journeyman, just taking fights and loses for a check

Who is they? I doubt many people are going out of their way to help a part time nurse that had three weeks notice beat a former champ in his home state. I was surprised that the decision went to Karpency figured it was close and hearing scores , thought they would give it to Dawson.
