If these boxing idiots dropped the PPV price tag, they would be alot more buys.

Yet they might be making a higher profit selling less for a higher price tag. I'm sure they've done extensive research to set the most profitable price.

Yea I am pretty sure the companies involved know how to extract the most down the the last penny. They might mess it up their forecast but they certainly don't mess it up because they didn't look into what was the best price point for an event.

Won't do two million. But keep talking Oscar.

Generate more interest in the fight, and make it happen in May.

You have to take into consideration who ther fighting. Nobody knew who Trout or Lara was . It takes names to draw as you saw with Mayweather and the Guererro fail!!

People seem to conveniently forget Floyd never drew or did numbers until the Oscar fight, Which Oscar carried.

When Oscar ****** forward stepped into his spot, but prior to the De La Hoya fight Floyd never drew big numbers.

Canelo/Cotto are two of the biggest names in boxing, and on a Hispanic holiday will draw big. Maybe not 2 million but it will draw.

Haters conveniently forget the facts. Floyd never was who he is now until Oscar brought him into the lime light and retired .

Canelo is still young but will eventually be the biggest draw in boxing. When Floyd was. Canelo's age he was nowhere near the draw Canelo is at this young age , and he still has a whole career ahead of him.

It's a constant revolving door that will continue in boxing til the end of time .

No one person is bigger than the sport !
I think it's not a thing of being haters or being negative, It's just that high ppv numbers are very very rare nowadays, and that includes Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather has only broke those 1 million + numbers against the next fighters, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz , Cotto, and has broke the 2 million only against De La Hoya and Canelo.

So even for an All Time Great who's known around the world as the best boxer puttin those numbers are very very rare.

My point is yes, Canelo and Cotto are big stars, but they are not that high on the sports mainstream status, honestly if Canelo and Cotto can break by their own the 1 million mark that will be a huge success, don't be fooled at the 2 million point because those are extraordinare and incredible numbers. But for anyone not named mayweather breaking through that mark or even getting nearer is great.

My guess lies between 600k and 1.2, if they break through that 1 million then we would be talking about a huge success.
