But I do believe Canelo-Cotto could top out at 1M. I think it will do Mayweather-Maidana numbers though, 800K.

I'd say its around 1mm at best. I was surprised Mayweather / Cotto did over 1mm, so I'm seeing this get close to those numbers.

Exactly what I was thinking. Neither Canelo nor Cotto can do well on their own, and most of the the fans at the Angulo fight were Angulo's. I think people are really overestimating Canelo's value and the value of the Mexican/PR market

If you came to reality, Jr bluffed Canelo and won, if Canelo had fought him like I hoped he had then he might have won , via Maidana style, if Cotto would have had the right Trainer(Roach) after his killin by Pac then when he fought JR he would have KO'd Jr.

you boys are blind to Jr's program. He makes the edge happen in his favor or he don't fight.

Casuals still arent huge on these guys like everyone is acting. All casuals really know these guys for are losing to Floyd & Pac. Its a 2nd rated, runners up matchup to them and casuals are the one's who drive PPV even though alot of people on this site cant comprehend that

My thoughts exactly. Anybody thinking this fight does 1.5 or 2 million is dreaming. Their previous fight numbers clearly show that's highly unrealistic.

People like stars, and the fact that neither choose to speak english in the build ups, and both are pretty boring outside the ring, there is no build up. And don't expect many US buys considering neither fighter is from the states

Nobody outside of hard core fans no one knowswho Lara is, not to mention he's near impossible to market.

Floyd wouldn't do great numbers with Lara not to mention it would be the most boring fight ever! Marathon/hug fest .

Floyd hasn't done great #'s outside the Canelo fight since the Guererro debacle!
