Oh the Ward Haters all wearing their umbrellas like in Hong Kong. Its touching really.
Lets overlook the Dawson win, the guy who was for a time considered in a pound for pound contest with Floydy....And then lets all cry about Ward's style which is not pleasing to the hater's eye.
Ward could have retired yesterday and would still deal with the mediocre Froch's of the division......

As for his resume, to those who replied, I'm not saying he has to go down as a great, I'm saying that's a damn good resume to retire on. One doesn't have to be regarded as a HOF to have a good resume and if I went through his wins, we'd only end up agreeing to disagree. I still consider his win over Dawson as solid, Abraham was a decent win.

Offensively nothing stands out other than his jab but he's well equipped in that regard, I love watching Ward.

Will be unfortunate if someone so good leaves without achieving everything that he could have. He's got a couple of really good wins, but someone so talented should have done a lot more.
Saying that, I won't really mind if he walks away. He won't be all that missed and doesn't seem interested in fighting anymore.Last edited by gmc_rfc_06; 10-03-2014, 08:46 AM.
