By the way : Floyd and Lara beat you , and Austin trout made you look bad . Who is the common denominator ? You .

You can not beat boxers counterpunchers , say it . You don't know how .

But I give you credit cause you had the heart to fight them , unlike santajoke and abduck mares , who are running scared from rigondeaux .

Hit and not be hit , swim with out getting wet; you can not hit what you don't see .

Kisses to my follower , my little girl , who got hurt for the things I post . Ha ha ha . Regards .

He really doesn't. The majority that complain n whine that he does, are the ones that didn't have to pay a cent out their pockets.

Clottey looked bad against Pacquiao but he often looks very good. He is a very hard fighter to beat and one of the toughest guys Canelo could fight in my opinion. I thought he deserved the win in his close fight with Cotto. He is that good. Clottey has an iron jaw and if Canelo can stop him he will have done something no other fighter has ever come even close to doing.

Honestly Clottey isn't the type of fighter yopu look good against. Manny won a shut-out and it still was a ugly fight. Canelo has only looked good vs a warped version of Perro; the Trout & Lara fights was to close and and got whitewashed vs Floyd. Even when he beats Clottey he prob won't look good doing it which won't build up as much to a Cotto fight.

i agree with alvared. no rematch. alvared did'nt do alot himself but Lara really made himself look bad. that was way to much moving around without throwing punches.i had that fight close with the edge going to Lara. but he just made himself look bad.he beat himself.

Why take a risk in December with multi millions of dollars on the line and a new HBO contract?
the real reason is almost nobody wants to see the roadrunner again, is boring...

Yes, but Clottey hasn't had a decent win since 2008 (unless you think Mundine is good), let that sink in for a minute.

                    Good job,

Wish more fighters had this kids' foresight, he knows what the fans want, and most importantly, do NOT want to see.

And boxing fans dont want to see Lara run another marathon.

Won't happen anytime soon. Canelo is now with HBO who has said publicly they won't work with Al Haymon ever again.
Besides that Lara doesn't deserve it. Did he really think pot shotting and running was a way to win a fight against one of the biggest draws in the sport? I was ready to like Lara but the way he fought and the way he handled the loss made me glad he won't ever be on that big stage again.
