If pacquiao and ward were the same weight who would win?

I said physically superior.
Faster feet and hands (feet only just faster though), more power, hundreds of punches with no let-up in sight in his prime (Ward has looked tired before. See the championship rounds versus Froch), and for my money better punch resistance. Not that it would be tested.Comment

Barrera was also el macho and refused to clinch..Ward isn't going to go to war with him like Barrera..he will clinch, hold and move off the back foot at times, counter and even headbutt and make it dirtyYeah it will probably be cut down some, but he will still Outland and outpoint ward..
Look at what manny did to Barrera in 2 fights.. Barrera is a great technician like ward but was unable to deal with the speed/power and counter back effectively.. Ward would be in the same boat...
Ward beats nearly every fighter on the planet but manny is one of the few I would say can beat ward...
No offense to wards career opponents but none have ever been p4p top 5 guys and manny has faced many guys like that thru his careerComment

The 2nd rematch Barrera fought that way and lasted longer but still got outpointed,,
I just don't see how ward will do enough to outpoint manny, much like calzaghe-Hopkins, you may neutralize some if their attack but you won't be able to do much scoring yourself and lose on points,,
Manny is very similar to calzaghe and that he is a southpaw that throws a bunch of punches but with more power, speed, skills, footwork.. Ward wouldn't be able to outpoint him over 12 rdsComment

Think about what you have said friend. Ward has competed with guys ONE weight class higher than he has fought his entire career. Pac has competed with guys across what, 8 weight classes? So, who would appear to be the stronger man P4P?
If Pac were the same size as Ward and he had the same speed and attributes that he had at 140 or 147, he would murk Ward. He has a whole slew of HOF's on his resume while Ward threw the majority of his prime years in the trash can.Comment

Yes. But at its core the essence of it is hypothetical circumstances of the best fighters at any given weightclass, squaring off head to head if they were at the same weight. weight.. Ward would still be 6 inches taller, physically stronger, and superior boxing skills. Btw P4P is subjective but if you dont think Ward is higher than Pac on the P4P list, you have your head up your @ss. Thats MY opinion.Comment

No friend. If they're the same weight, their body mass doesnt change. Ward would always be bigger if we are going by their actual dimensions. The question was if they were the same weight. Ward would still be a 6'0 welterweight who is physically stronger and has great IQ and boxing skills. Pac wins? He would be the underdog. Heck Pac would be a underdog against Mayweather and ward is like a bigger stronger Mayweather (If Ward and Pac were welterweights) are you guys understanding the question? youre talking about a huge difference in size, height and body mass wise. Airheads lol.. Bet noone thought of that before throwing their pom poms onThink about what you have said friend.
