If pacquiao and ward were the same weight who would win?

Problem is, are we talking shrinking Ward down to 147, or bringing Pack up to 168?. . . Either way would Pac still retain is small stature for his weight class at 168 so sort of be abit Cotto ish in size bit abit bigger, or would Ward be I dunno, Mayweatherish physique? . . .
TBH I dunno, part of me says Pac would be too much, and another part of me says Ward out hustles him to a UD, so I'm on the fence about this one.Comment

I'm not saying they are equal in skill, my only point is that ward doesn't have a commanding lead/counter right like Floyd, Hopkins, Marquez, tsyzu, morales possess to control a fight... Ward's right hand is average and on par with oscar, Shane. It's decent but it's not his strong suit..
Ward doesn't have the right hand that is needed to beat manny.. The guys that have beaten manny- morales and jmm were both able to beat manny by being able to blast counter and lead rights at manny all night long. Ward doesn't have that capability much like Bradley, cotto, margs, oscar, rios, hatton, Shane, oscar, etc...Comment

Ward drops an ugly decision.
He has the ability to cut down Manny's workrate, and rough him up inside. These are things Manny struggles to deal with, for sure. Ward is technically superior.
But prime Manny is physically superior, with enough nouse to beat a fighter that isn't able to get off properly himself. Ward would struggle to keep the fight on the inside difficult without the ability to make Manny respect him.
While his defense is very good, it's not great. He can be hit from mid-range and few are better at adjusting their punches to hit moving targets than Manny is. Manny doesn't really need to be careful in this match-up either as Ward lacks the firepower of Marquez or Morales. He has certainly been nailed for being too reckless but can you see that happening here?
It would be ugly and inconclusive but I feel it'd clearly belong to Manny due to faster (not better) movement and better punches/workrate.Comment

Physically stronger? Ward competed with Lightheavyweights.. That means if him and Pac were Featherweights, Ward would have experience fighting and beating, lightweights. Ward is physically stronger, cmon.Ward drops an ugly decision.
