Margarito at a 150 catch weight after a year suspension for getting caught cheating with illegal had wraps, KO'd by Mosley only to come back and fight a no one, then fighting Pacquiao for a vacant title Martinez left because no one would fight him at 154. That Margarito win was impressive to you?

What does this prove?? When floyd says pacquiao is desperate, it should be use against him. Yes floyd, pacquiao is desperate to fight you. Floyd himself admits and knows pac desperately wants to fight him, while he himself isnt doing anything about it.

If he was that desperate he wouldn't have turned down every offer he got.

I still don't get how these guys can forget that Manny turned down the fight two times.

Absolutely. That's actually one of the last nails that sealed the superfight's coffin. Floyd got scared even more. Pac fans hated Arum for making such dangerous, high risk fight with absolutely no effing reward legacy-wise. Then you see idiots saying Arum is protecting Pacquiao, doe. He's protecting him from a boring, running, clinching, UD'ying, potshotting chicken like Froidweather. What a joke.

To Pacquiao it was a joke but he should have negotiated instead of saying 50% or no fight because at that point he wasn't in the position to ask for 50% of everything like he was in 2009 in which Floyd agreed to. Manny's problem is that he thinks he is on the same level as Mayweather. Fame wise I would say yeah, Manny has a big name globally but in any business it is a #'s game and his are not comparing with Mayweather.

Not to mention that Pacquiao said prior to Floyd offering him no PPV that he would take less than Mayweather. Mayweather's problem is that he feels he doesn't need to let them make money off of his name not thinking that it benefits him as well. Both don't have to fight each other but in the long run that is going to reflect poorly on their careers considering both were in the same weight class and big names in the sport. Pacquiao doesn't want to be considered the #2 in the equation but in reality he is.

TBH, I'm please with the way it's going, Floyd admitting he's not desperate for the fight and Pac is. Then here are his fans still defending his roadblocks. Thanks! That's all good news for me. Can't wait to see this guy retire with a ducking rep intact. The day he announces a non-Pac fight for his retirement fight is the day this sport will be ridden with mindless speculations that's been going on for years. Which is good for the sport. That's only about 210 days away.... Stay ducking, Floyd.

Pac probably does want the huge pay check. But if it's a sensible fight (and it is compared to the other opponents each of them can take), and it will make Floyd the most money, then so what?

No other active top fighter cares about the personal financial status of their opponents. I've never heard Klitschko, Ward, Froch, Cotto etc discuss the bank accounts of their opponents. It's a load of garbage and the sooner Mayweather is gone the better.
