Another roadblock here folks. Pacquiao must have at least 100 million in his bank account before TBE fights him. He broke doe..

I wish these two would stop talking about each other.
Honestly, it's been about 6 years of back and forth crap with no end product. They are both well past their prime and I have no interest in seeing this fight contested between two declining fighters when it should have happened years ago and been a fight of the ages.Comment

There was approx 4,626,000 ppvs bought in that time frame. Mayweathers guarranteed purses total to $137,500,000. PPV total numbers @$75 would equate to $346,875,000. That would leave showtime with $209,375,000 to pay out to the other fighters, ppv % for the fighters who have it (floydie) and other things that have to pay for. I don't really see the profite there when almost half your money goes to just one fighter. Maybe thats why floydie was so adamant that showtime "will" get the ppv fight.Well you can't just say SO. If its so trivial, then Manny can do it.Please, lets not say no problems. Lets say he has found a way to work with rivals when it benefits him.
Please, do not use "NSB logic" as fact. Showtime has sold 4.7 mil ppv's between May 2013 and Sept 2014. Subscriptions are up. Maybe he did not surpass the 1 mil per fight goal and maybe showtime hasn't sold as many subscriptions as they thought. But just their revenue from those ppv's is profit.
You make valid points about Haymon but that really isn't the discussion of this thread.
You can't just force fit everything into the "its Floyd's fault" box when it doesn't fit.Comment

are you sure its about reality or Your LOVE to FLoyd?

What about 2012, before Floyd went to jail? why did Bob have many get stitches from his son in law and they suddenly switch and say Manny couldn't fight in May? WHat about the stadium that needed to be built outdoors to accommodate a larger crowd? It seems clear there had to be some movement toward the fight.Because it basically is all on Floyd man. Floyd makes a million mistakes, it's all nothing major. But Manny makes the first mistake and somehow it is 10 million times more egregious than Floyd. Manny has done his part to make up for the doping issue by saying he'd take any test Floyd wants. To add to that he's said he'll fight whenever, wherever and take less money. What exactly has Floyd done to make up for all the excuses he's come up to make the fight?
You also said I don't debate the points you bring up... you brought up the amount of PPV buys. You spun it to make your point look appealing, I spun it to look at the reality of the situation that half of those buys were over a year and a half ago and your response? Debate me on the points I make... I just did and you're mad about it lol.
you and many other posters give enormous weight to what Floyd says but gives no weight to the actions of many and his team. Yet if I asked you relative to any other topic you would most likely utter the same phrase you and I learned as kids-actions speak louder than words.
Had foyd been the one who refused-you surely wouldn't be talking about what Manny said in an interview.Comment

Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has finally agreed to everything Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants in order to make what seems to be the biggest and most lucrative fight in boxing history.
One of the major conditions demanded by Mayweather during the early stage of negotiations almost three years ago was the Olympic-style drug test (OSDT), which required Pacquiao to submit to a random drug test all the way up to the day of the fight.
Mayweather believed Pacquiao was taking performance enhancing drugs which gave him an added advantage over his opponents during his previous fights.
In order to come to an agreement, Pacquiao offered a 14-day drug testing window, saying he feels weak when blood is taken from his body and would need a few days to recover.
Mayweather balked at Pacquiao's offer and after weeks and months of negotiations, Pacquiao relented and changed his offer to seven days.
Still, Mayweather continued to criticize Pacquiao for his refusal to join him in what he called an action necessary to clean the sport of boxing.
In his desire to give boxing fans the fight they have long wanted to see, Pacquiao finally decided to agree on Mayweather's demand without pre-conditions.

It's not like he just agreed to testing in the first negotiations. He came around in 2012! The question many people have always had was "why would you want any cut-off dates?"Comment

More like 20 mill cause floyd is a ****** animal that has no self control with with money.pac still going to be richer when it's all said and done. Tell me groupie how does that make you feel? When you see Floyd on street what are you going to say then? But Manny should not offer fair compensation to a guy (Marquez) who has 1 draw and 1 KO in 4 fights with him? Manny better go get some of the dance partners Floyd has been getting. According to you and so many others here, he should be able to do the same or better. Guererro, Canelo, and Maidana are all available, and looking for dance partners right now:

Although the documents do not disclose revenue also generated from pay-per-view upside, it's extremely doubtful that Pacquiao is getting significantly more than Mayweather in that department, especially considering that they both do similar numbers and in Pacquiao's case, Top Rank retains 27.5%. While I personally believe the subject of a 50/50 split is irrelevant, mainly because Bob Arum was never interested in staging the fight on May 5 to begin with, given those numbers, it's understandable why Mayweather might allegedly inform Pacquiao that a $40 million guarantee would be significantly more money than he's been currently making.
