Hit and not be hit .
Rigo , go back to the olimpics , man .in there there is no ducking , cherrie picking , you have to take the fights you are ordered or will never be a champ .

Surely someone in the WBA/WBO rankings wants a title shot? Avalos dropped the opportunity, pick someone else then.

Exactly. Just stop crying and move on to the next. Worry about your own career instead of other people's. Avalos is doing what's best for him.

If you fight without caring if you entertain the fans, don't be surprised if the fans don't want to tune in.

No one is ducking Rigo. They just don't want to fight for peanuts, since it's the networks that don't want Rigo.

GGG is a middleweight and rigo is a super bantamweight. of course he is going to draw bigger crowds. i know he has a style thats more appealing to casual fans as well, im not saying thats not a factor. but its damn near impossible for a guy rigos size to compete with middleweights in terms of ticket sales. when the entire division is ducking you on top of it there is just no way.

just because he chose to fight someone else doesnt mean its a duck. a duck is avoiding someone because you are scared to lose, do you really think rigondeaux or his people are afraid of avalos?

they fought agbeko because he is a bigger name, he is probably a better fighter too. he definitely accomplished a whole lot more.

avalos on the other hand should want to fight rigo, everyone knows he is the best at 122. even if the paper champions of the division are offering more money now, avalos could get even more from those fights if he beat rigo for the legit championship first. except he and his people know damn well thats not a realistic outcome.

its messed up how people want to give everyone a pass for ducking rigo, then turn around and tear other fighters a new one for doing the same thing to a much lesser degree.

rigondeaux is the most feared man in boxing, period.

Rigo's camp has their head's too far up their ass to realize the sport is moving on without him. DAMN IT! WAKE THE **** UP RIGO!
Yes , rigo was offered Avalos fight in Canada , but bob arum didn't tell rigos camp 10 weeks prior to the fight , as it was in the contract .
I believe they told him 7 weeks prior .... Rigo didn't have the time to get ready and bob knew it .

But now all is ok and Avalos ducks .

Are you really comparing the marketability of a middleweight vs that of a super bantamweight? Lmao

The man has boxed only one round this year. The last thing his team should be is picky about who he fights next. Just get him in the ring ASAP!

That sucks. Thanks for the information, I guess it makes sense for Rigo to have picked up Agbeko instead. Regardless the truth of the matter is Rigo is left out on the cold now and Avalos avoids the fight to possibly reach an agreement with another Champion for more money.

Rigo is like one of those great low budget movies... You love the story and plot of it but the over the top, underperformed and horrid graphics make you cringe too much. You end up confused on whether to watch it or close your eyes do to the atrocities displayed on the screen. Just like him, I love watching him fight and the brilliance he displays but the manner in which he is being pimped by Caribe and he does nothing but take it... seriously raises questions.
