What fights are you basing this on... Lucas's brother... Lmao.. Y'all grasping at straws
as opposed to fighting south american cab drivers? you're basing your entire opinion on one fight. that's sound logic, so tell me, how'd the second one go? I'm guessing it went even better than the first one since he was such an amazing puncher.

also, learn how to punctuate if you want anyone to take your opinion seriously.

No not one fight but a career of beheading anyone he could land flush on repeatedly..

Forrest didn't stand in engage in the rematch, he moved and used the jab and combinations... Margs isn't gonna do any of that.. He is gonna come head first and get hit repeatedly...and that will lead to a mayorga win..

Why is everyone so sure that margs would be able to walk thru mayorga's punches,,, it's just not logical.,, he isn't spinks with movement or Forrest with the jab,, he is tony "head first" margarito
That's irrelevant. You said Mayorga was the biggest KO puncher outside of Tito. And I said besides Forrest (who he couldn't come close to stopping in an immediate rematch -- a fight he should've lost IMO), who has he stopped? Six Heads? The guy everyone stopped? Including Margarito, who stopped him earlier?

No, don't say it's irrelevant.. You can't dismiss mayorga as a power puncher yet then not be able to name anyone over a 20 year period that hits harder...

Margs can only fight coming forward and I just don't see how Ricardo doesn't bomb on this guy
Lol, that made me chuckle. How long have you been watching boxing?

I understand being a fan and having an opinion but you have not just pushed the envelope but you pulled out the leaf blower on it.

ODLH knocked the dude out cold and he started boxing pro as a light weight.

Margs would have tracked him down and stopped him late and it may not be proof of this but the other 82-84% of people who voted on the poll see it that way as well.

Stop letting the later, Pacquiao-ruined version of Antonio cloud your judgement. He was a special stalker for a period of time. Mayorga was hype because of a good style matchup against a very good prime Vernon Forrest and not much more.

Trinidad and Lopez for sure. Strong cases for Page, Oscar, Campas, Quartey and Brown.

Further, Mayorga was strong early but never really carried his power late IMO. Margarito was the exact opposite. And it's silly to use the glass-chinned Lewis as an example of Mayorga's power when Margarito KO'ed him earlier and just as decisively. But this isn't about who hit harder, it's about who would win between the two. About the only thing Mayorga has over Margarito is powet and even that's debatable. Margarito has him beat in every other category and would win a clear decision IMO.

Sure there is a difference if caliber of the fighters, but were not talking skills, we are talking styles, and Frazier and margs are very similar and mayorga and young foreman were both big wide punchers with mean uppercuts
You can't discount the style matchups just because margs and Ricardo aren't atg like foreman and Frazier...
Their styles are hardly even similar at all.

Mayorga's power and Foreman's power are no where near similar.

It's not a good comparison at all.

I don't think you can say it's obvious especially when margarito never faced a puncher like mayorga,, sorry but cotto, cintron, clottey Williams, are nowhere near as powerful a puncher than mayorga
Both Pacquaio, Cotto and Shane are.

Mayorga is not stopping Margarito early. That is never going to happen.
