Ok, let me get this straight, you don't give credit for Floyd beating Shane, Hatton or JMM, but do you give Pacquiao credit for beating them? you said Mosley was "old as dirt", well when he fought Manny he was coming off a loss and a draw to Sergio Mora and was older. When Hatton fought Manny he was no longer with his lifetime trainer and was a shot fighter mentally, he admitted taking the Floyd loss very personal, so in other words, he was damaged goods when Manny knocked him out. So you brush off these wins but when Pacquiao does it, you celebrate. Let me guess you also gave Pacquiao credit for beating Rios and will also give him credit for taking on Chris "I only have 8 KO's" Algieri. Come on, man, put the hate to the side and face reality.

Whatever Mayweather did Pac did better. Making excuses for Hatton and others won't work.

No, that's not what he says. He says Shane was old as dirt so Floyd's win doesn't count. And that TBE thing you guys take too serious, that's just the guy's confidence, kind of like Ali calling himself the best ever. Personally there's no such thing as best "ever" since there's no time machine to fight each other. But there is the best of an era, and Floyd is the best of our era, no matter how much your anger burns. That guy shot down Floyd's wins vs Shane, Zab, Hatton and JMM but I'm sure he was ecstatic when Manny beat Rios. I smell hypocrisy.

Floyd is NOT the best ever...but he's better than Pacquiao.

He has never proved it !!! He has been chicken to fight him for 5 or 6 years now. He could have taken the fight with Pac but went with JMM , etc....... but he was a little scardy boy.

Because in the words of Floyd, someone laid down the "blueprint to beat Cotto." Cotto had a lot taken out of him from getting beat down by glove-covered bricks. Then Pacquiao beat him. At that point, Floyd saw him as less of a threat. Cotto is a small jr. middleweight, more of a blown up welterweight but Floyd fans believe everything he said with that "fighting Cotto at his comfortable weight" garbage.

Still doesn't answer the question. Why did it take for Cotto to dump Arum in order to get that fight done? .. Cotto got beat by Margarito in 2008, and the gloves being loaded is just speculation (I'm guessing they were, but guesses mean nothing). Pacquiao fought Cotto after he barely survived Clottey. Mayweather fought Cotto after his rematch win vs Margarito. So no doubt he looked more beatable heading into the Manny fight.

oh give me a break i sure hope popular boxing dont turn into mma where knock outs are more important then skill. Yea we all like the alvarado rios type fights but i mean we also need to appreciate fighters doing whatever it takes to win no matter what that style is. but when your talking about an unorthodox guy whos throwing punches from everywhere trying to take your head off i dont want to hear about taking no risks. Hes taking a risk by getting in the ring in the first place. Im just so tired of fighters who bad mouth fighters because they box instead of brawl. And what the hell is canelo talking about anyway he acts like hes this come forward mexican brawler but anyone who has watched his fights knows he fights like he thinks hes this defensive wizard even when hes way bigger then his opponent. Its like these fighters just cant let it go that mayweather beat him. Canelo and Oscar cant stand that mayweather beat both of them.

I say don't get offended at that TBE thing, like I said the guy is near 40 years old, he needs whatever motivation he can get at this point. I remember Mosley ducking Floyd in 2006, after he beat Fernando Vargas he was asked about meeting Floyd and he brushed it off saying his tooth was hurting, but nobody talks about this. I also remember Floyd calling out Oscar when he was in his full prime and Bob Arum brushing it off not wanting to risk the Golden Boy. These are things nobody wants to talk about. He beat Mosley after Shane destroyed the "boogeyman" at the time, Margarito. After this win nobody wanted to fight Shane, not even Pacquiao, I remember Freddie Roach blatantly ducking the Shane fight, another thing nobody talks about. So for Floyd to whoop Shane after one of his biggest wins does deserve some credit.

As far as Marquez, they asked him what he thought about a rematch with Floyd after he got settled into the division and he said "for what, you saw what happened."

So beating Mosley doesn't count for Floyd, but does it count for Pacquiao? and how can you accuse anyone of making "cherrypicks" when Manny is fighting Algieri next, a cherry pick of the highest caliber, a guy with 8 KO's, no experience above 140, with absolutely no chance in hell. And I remember Pac fans calling for boycotts of Mayweather/Maidana 1. So when it's Floyd, its a cherry pick, but when Paq does it, what do you call it.
