Actually, the meat n potatoes of the "conversation" I was attempting to have with you was about the importance of titles, or lack thereof, in boxing. Because I am of the opinion that fighters make titles, not visa versa. The Floyd-Baldomir debate was simply the genesis of the intended debate. Your obsession with discrediting Floyd and anybody that doesn't hate him simply wouldn't allow you to see past your shallow agenda. No biggie.

I dont see it that way , the topic headline is taken out of context , why was that tiny part of his interview made a headline in here , why is all the posts about bashing Floyd , why was all the other parts more relevant to Canelo ignored , its called propaganda .It's kind of funny because since their fight Mayweather has done nothing but praise Canelo while Alvarez still seems pretty salty and bitter about the loss. Anyways, good for Canelo and I agree with him that those are Mexican dates. I think he'll target Cotto in May and Chavez Jr. in September. Those two PPVs would be very hard even for Mayweather to compete with unless he's fighting Pacquiao.
This forum is getting really bad for this stuff .Comment

Showtime will move cause they have to come up with 30 million Showtime has been in the negative with Floyd the only time they were positive was with Canelo fight other than that Showtime needs to sue Floyd for being a fraudOne thing I will say about Floyd/Maidana II is that there were times in the fight where Floyd should've pressed the action and put his punches together. He hurt Maidana a few times to the body and it looked like he could land some meaningful shots but he chose not to engage further. I was disappointed in that aspect. Floyd could've had more dominant rounds if he had been more aggressive in spots.
As far as the May and September dates, there's no way they will do two PPV's on the same date. That is a terrible proposition from a business standpoint. Someone will have to move off of that date or both PPV's will put up disappointing numbers.Comment

When was the last time Pac KO'd anyone?
I bet it hasn't been since the P.E.D. allegations came out. Maybe that's why he wanted a cutoff date when it came to testing and he wanted to know when each test would take place. What do you think?Comment

And that is the exact way most odds makers would have it. My guess is that Pac would be at least a 4-1 underdog in the fight. What a slick way to sidestep the fact Pacquiao is fighting the softest, most unworthy opponent there is. There is nothing you can say to justify that match up, and I know for a fact if it was Floyd facing Algieri you would be doing back flips screaming how much of a cherry pick it is. Manny could be fighting Thurman, why isn't he. People want Floyd to face every up and coming star, from Canelo to GGG, but Pacquiao gets a pass when he picks guys like Algieri. And if you want my prediction for a Floyd/Manny fight, I got Floyd shutting him out, lopsided unanimous decision.Comment
