I highly doubt Cotto would want this fight knowing that he would likely lose. If it was made, It would probably be at a CW of 155 or 156. Arum should offer Cotto bank so that Pacquiao could fight him for a 9th.

Why would cotto fight pacquiao now? They have the same trainer and cotto has outgrown pac in weight. Cotto is looking for one last big fight and I think that's all he has in him.

He made Margarito fight at 150 when he was the A-Side.

145 is not that ****ing far from 150. A guy who has trouble making 145 is a guy that fights at 154, he doesn't stipulate a catchweight of 150 if making 147 was so hard that it drained him.
And this is when I realised this ******* was ignorant. An extra pound or two can make a MASSIVE difference in boxing. You keep dodging the fact that pacquiao was making catchweights that drained fighters. By your logic pacquiao should never have set a catchweight against margarito if he never had trouble making 147. 145 is a huge difference from 150 when you are squeezing into a weight class. I'll admit floyd drained canelo for sure. So using that logic clearly an extra 2 pounds made a huge difference, correct? So how is 5 pounds not a massive difference for cotto? How are the catchweights manny imposed on cotto, de la Hoya and margarito not any different?

at saying Cotto wasn't drained at 140. That's common knowledge dude.

And since when is this fight a possibility? It's not. Another way to bring attention while he prepares for Chris Fucking Algieri.

The CW for Cotto-Margarito II was 153 pounds. Stop making shit up to cover your ass.

manny was superbantam 3 fight before that cotto fight.
and cotto weight 146 in the clottey fight 1 fight prior.

floyd has fought in 2 154 lbs world championship prior to canelo fight.
and canelo was superwelter since 2010.

which of the two is even-ing out the odds, which one is the b1tch.

                Who are you??

This thread is ****** if you follow boxing. Cotto and Manny are friends now who share the same trainer. Cotto is too BIG for Manny now and that fight makes no sense at all. Get over it. Manny is my favorite fighter of this era but if he fights Cotto without a catchweight, he probably gets Ko'ed against this current Cotto. Cotto is too skilled and too big to fight a smaller fighter. His power and confidence is back and that's a dangerous combination. Roach has him thinking he can KO a heavyweight.

i think unless cotto could stop pacquiao he could never beat pacquiao, pacquiao is psychotic and if he knows he's losing he'll be looking for blood and cotto always folds in the face of unrelenting pressure, not to mention he isn't a 12 rd fighter

                    Was Canelo drained at 152?
