Like usual, Bob Arum is lying through his teeth. There is no deal between the networks and there have been no negotiations of any kind, so nothing has been decided. Arum is still trying to use Mayweather's name to promote Pacquaio's joke of a fight against Algieri.

How can people say it's too late for this fight, look at how many pages of comments for this. What if both Manny and Floyd's camp conspired to withhold the fight until the last leg of their careers. You can write an essay detailing how both sides have roadblocked this bout. Think about it, since 2009, both Manny and Floyd have been using each others' names to promote their upcoming fight. They fool fans into thinking "ok, after this fight it's finally going to happen." But after their fights are done, they don't speak on the topic anymore, because they already cashed in. They are both playing with the public.

Manny is just used to getting things his way. He needs to get over it.

I definitely think he would break the record revenue mark he set with Canelo, but it depends on who is the promoter. If this is a GBP & TR collaboration, his total will be higher but the percentage he makes will be smaller. If it's a Mayweather promotion, then sky is the limit, even when both he and Manny shouldn't be as relevant at 38 and 36. At this point, this all about pride and revenge. When Manny didn't take that money, it was saying "how dare you, do you know who I am?" Floyd responded with Canelo, and another record breaking fight. Manny got KTFO. Floyd (and you too) knows that Manny's chances at a mega-fight are very slim, unless he fights Canelo (too big), Cotto (same trainer), GGG (too big), Amir Khan (Should be now, instead of Algeri), or Floyd. Manny's boxed in, and his promoter is talking like they're in control. Floyd could fight not just one of those four (he already beat 2), he could fight all 4 of them. Same can't be said for Manny. Pay Arum the step aside fee, co-promote the fight (MP promotions), fight on Showtime, get a rematch clause, take the $40 million, and do what you do.

Serendipity would be that Floyd fights Khan, and Manny fights Garcia, and both Floyd and Manny lose by KO. Then they make the fight, and no one gives a **** like Jones Jr. vs. Trinidad!
