Ok What is Arum doing to make fight?

The exact thing he said not to do and thats go through media? Or did you forget that?

Does he still not know who to call to make fight happen? or is this like all the other times...bravado to sell a fight. Thats what i think it is

No the ball is still in Pac court. Floyd doesnt call you, you call him. Dont agree but thats the way it is in business life not just the boxing circle. Little dog calls big dog for business

But doubt that happens cause Arum doesnt know who to call.

Whether Arum is just talking **** to the media or not is irrelevant. Let's say they start negotiating this fight in November, in what way is Bob Arum an obstacle? He is Manny Pacquaio's promoter so he has to be involved in the fight.

How is he doing whatever it takes?

Did he contact Floyd at any point?

Did he contact Ellerbe or anyone with showtime?

Did he make an offer to someone we don't know about?

Other than run off at his mouth to the cameras, what has he actually done to make this fight happen?

Why have we not heard from Showtime or HBO saying they agreed to work together? The last time HBO execs were involved in negotiation they spoke for themselves so why nothing, if they apparently are working with Arum to make this fight happen?

IF they start negotiating in Nov then ok cause itll be after PAc fight and Arum will know who to call hopefully. I have no issue with that....if it happens

Floyd wanted no cut off dates from the get. It was Manny that wanted to cut offs because he said giving blood made him weak.

Floyd then released a video showing Manny getting tested within the 14 day window of one of his fights after Manny said he could not do it and never had he got caught in a lie and was forced to agree after he had been exposed.

This was after saying he didn't want to give blood at all and do extra testing because he hasn't had to before and was caught in that lie as well after he was questioned about his tatoos and someone calling him on his lie of never being blood tested before.

I really do NOT think he wants the fight. Arum's way of looking at things is "how much will I make," "not how much will Manny make." For instance:

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

The split frees Mayweather to make a potential deal with De La Hoya without Arum as part of the promotion. His involvement would have made making a deal almost impossible: The head of Top Rank has openly feuded with De La Hoya, his former superstar, and their companies rarely do business together as a result.

Arum said he was simply not interested in participating in a De La Hoya-Mayweather fight, but not because of his distaste for De La Hoya.

"I don't want to, because if I did that fight, I would be working for such a small percentage, it's not worth it," he said.

I guess throwing Floyd's name out there when Pac is fighting Algieri helps to promote the fight.

They have to get through their fight first in order to negotiate for the next one.

I guess uncle Bob finished that stadium and the $40 million dollar offer to Pac never occurred either. So now Bob is READY to negotiate
