Hopkins longevity makes people forget how long Jones was THAT good. His best was better than Hopkins IMO much the same way Charles was better than Moore despite not lasting as long.Comment

No Tyson, Larry Holmes or Holyfield? I mean come on...these guys kept the sport alive, and in Tysons case, he single handedly revived ans saved the sport. Idiot writers. I hate Burt Sugar. He hates Tyson for whatever reason. Well glad I don't have to see his ugly yellow teeth anymore.Comment

LOL...only privileged if you got to watch Floyds fights without having to pay for them out of your own pocket. I consider myself a victim when I pay for a Floyd PPV fight.Comment

I hate lists like this because they are too vague... I'd go by who was the best in their prime..and cover a period of time... Hopkins gets overrated because he's a compiler of wins and titles... Hopkins lost to Dawson and Calzaghe clearly... although he has a great win over Tarver...We need to pin point HOpkins' prime years...Pacquiao from 06-11 was an unstoppable force and way better than JCC...would have dominated Chavez Sr..Pac from 06-11 was better than most if not all of this list...
you can't just count when manny didn't lose, you have to count the losses as well.Comment

Marciano never lost and was willing to fight everyone of his era... Floyd is undefeated but really lost to Castillo and ducked Winky, Manny, Margarito and would never fight guys like Triple G.. etc...
That's why...Last edited by MisanthropicNY; 10-30-2014, 10:54 AM.Comment

Hopkins should be number one on the list if we're going by the entirety of a career...
Additionally, Sugar Ray Robinson was not that great at Middleweight..he fought Clowns literally lol fought a guy who worked in the circus and fought part-time and had a bit of a fight on his hands lol...
Sugar Ray Robinson at Welterweight was a super force... so let's pin-point...
Sugar Ray Robinson during his Welterweight years was a force... just as Sugar Shane Mosley as a lightweight was a beast... but decided to chase pay checks and move up in weight where his size wasn't an advantage...
The Pacquiao who fought De La Hoya was amazing... moving on his feet, making De La Hoya miss and countering... Pac from that fight on... got way better and was unbeatable for about 5 years...Comment
