Floid Chicken wont be doing as good a numbers as Canelo vs Cotto mark that one down, the only way is if he fights someone we've been waiting on him fighting for the past 6 years.

So Mexicans who would you rather watch Mexico's biggest star of boxing vs Puerto Ricos biggest star of boxing or Floid Gayweather vs some cherry picked opponent that has to use sponge gloves with a referee constantly breaking up any of the action

It's definitely a fight that I want to see and I'll pay for, but they won't move units like Floyd or PAC, at least not yet.

Margarito that got KO'd by Mosely? The Margarito that got beat by Paul Williams, and got caught cheating against Cotto? That Margarito? Nobody thought Floyd would fight Oscar @ 154, Cotto @ 154, or Canelo at 152, but he did, and beat all of them. Your boy Pac didn't fight Oscar @ 154, Cotto @ 154, or Canelo @ 152, but you're not calling him a duck. You can only come up with excuses for Manny.

The fact that the masses would probably rather pay $80 for another excruciatingly boring Mayweather fight on a Mexican holiday he has nothing to do with just because he's on TMZ every week, pretty much sums up why anyone who supports "democracy" isn't thinking hard enough.

For all of his failings, he functions are an amazing political analogy.

The only way Alvarez will be fighting on that weekend is if he is fighting some stiff on regular HBO an hour before the Mayweather fight starts.
Anyone vs Lara would've done low PPV numbers!

No, Cotto is still a Free Agent. He works with whoever he wants on a fight-by-fight basis.

Yep, Cotto vs Canelo is a huge match-up I think Floid fans are worrying that not as many will tune in for the next May the 2nd fight with Floid.

It won't do too well because Floyd and Pacquaio automatically takes away many PPV buys. It's part of the reason why both Canelo and Cotto didn't do great PPV numbers individually. Economy still isn't that great and then there's all these PPVs.
