I think the question here is, if Maidana was allowed to do work in the inside could he have hurt Mayweather some more (because i thought he hurt Floyd at least twice in the fight) so if you give back the 25 clinches that were stopped to soon could he have done more damage and could he have won more rounds.
The answer has to be yes if your truthful about it. Then you have to think the scores were 115/112 and 116/111 and that was with a point deduction so if you take away the point deduction it's 114/113 and 115/112 twice that's a close fight and Chino was not allowed to do what he does best and that's fight in the inside. IDK I think Floyd is seriously declined because he should not have so much trouble with Chino. Back in the day Floyd would have destroyed Maidana.
Floyd Mayweather better stay away from Manny! I always wanted to see them fight but always thought Floyd would win a SD or something but after what I saw in this fight Manny KO's Mayweather and probably makes it look easy.

Alexander numbers are insane against Chino, should have been called NC (119 clinches in 10 rounds). i don't think fighters should hug more than six times per round. Floyd clinching numbers are Ok but that thing he does hitting and inmediatly holding is plain dirty. Anyway, i blame Bayless, he allways broke just because they were too close...
Remember Chaves was deducted two points for hugging in the smallest ring in the world...

the reason Maidana's knee went up was because FLoyd was looking to punch maidana on his balls. In the tackle FLoyd held Maidana so both of them went down, the Biting FLoyd was putting his glove on his face, keeping him from breathing

ANyways, FLoyd went out like a chump on the remtach, got his lights almost put out by his favorite pair of sparring gloves, and had to pay off the ref in his favor since he couldn't deal with it himself. Piss poor performance by self proclaimed TBE, wich is also laughable.

It's on boxnation over here in uk

And Hopkins will smother kovalev at times, we expect this, he's gonna grab kovalev right arm and hit him with his own right to Kovalev's hip and body , and he won't even grab kovalev other times because fighting in close will be advantage for him ,
I am all in for Hopkins man.....just saying stop being openly biased...Clinching 5-6 times a round is not a lot...

Lets be honest here...Floyd hurt Chino more then he hurt Floyd..in the 10 Chino needed a break because he was ready to go

that's my point it was a close fight and Chino shouldn't be giving Floyd these kind of problems

Need to learn boxing, in the end of the Third Mayweathers legs were gone, you see him do the "booty dew", then he grabbed on to the ropes to try and hide it as he quickly sat down. You see his lights flicker out when the punch landed, and that was with Mayweathers favorite gloves.

Just saying you need to look at things the way they are.

It was a low blow he had to recover from, didn't you see the replay?. Maidana was always conscious in the fight, at the end of the third when the punch lands, Mayweather's lights flicker out.

hes 37 and getting older and chino has a great trainer and a hard style to fight against why are people downplaying that? styles make fights why cant "boxing" fans see this? chino is a better fighter with garcia its plain to see, is he an ATG? no but hes as good solid professional fighter, Ali and SRR struggled with opponents they were supposed to beat easily, even go Knocked down u guys are too much!
