how do you know that if he's unwilling to fight everyone in the division? i think you meant to say he's so much better than all the guys he fights. that would be an accurate statement.

Fans are over reacting, he's getting old, getting hit more often & still connecting with more than 50% of his punches.

He's definitely getting more & more boring to watch though.

I don't think he lost a step, I think he went back to the basics. By using his legs luke he did against Castillo in their rematch. He hasn't used his legs since he fought the Ghost.

He is certainly past the point where anything he gains on the mental side of things is no longer able to totally completely mitigate the physical decline.

So yea he has lost at least a step and he will only be more cautious, defensive and careful with how he uses his offense as time goes on.

It's not that he can't pull the trigger and this and that. Keep in mind, Floyd trains insane during training camp.

Don't care about stats, I know what I saw. Mayweather's body language after the fight confirm that he's also aware of his decline.

Yeah, being buckled and countered (like Floyd was in the 3rd round) is true throwback prime Floyd Mayweather. :wank:

Poor example. Floyd was buckled by Corley and Judah in 2004 and 2006, in his prime. Very, very poor example.

Yeah, he knows. To be honest, he looks tired of boxing. I don't think he's in a good place mentally or physically.

That's pretty much how I interpreted the interview.
