His legs were still good, his chin was still good. His D was effective enough and probably as good as anyone else's boxing right now, but he looked a lot less smooth compared to how he usually does. Some of that was because of Maidana's style, but his power and offense ******, and is never that good north of 140. He's slowing down. Fighting guys like Maidana in ****ty fights like that isn't going to do anything for him but get him paid.

He should fight Pacquiao next, then fight Brook, Khan or Thurman and be on his way to go do everything he wants to do and make all the money he wants to make outside of the ring.

Mayweather stopped fighting for legacy a long time ago if that's what your implying.

I'm really surprised larry is saying this bug I agree. Pac would be too fast for him now. I used to think floyd would beat pacquiao but after tonight it's clear he had significantly slowed down. And that post fight interview showed a worn out mayweather

Chavez, Castillo, Cotto and, to an extent Hatton: even when he was in his prime, he had to put in work against fighters who could cut off the ring an apply pressure.

I do think that he should consider retirement, as he has slowed down tremendously, but I think the fact that it was so apparent is down to the opponent he fought. Had he stepped in the ring, with Canelo or Guerrero, it would have been the same song and dance.
