Like i said, the only difference you're refferring to is the tempo, and that was Bayless by stopping the action for every clinch. That was not a adjustment in part of FLoyd, that was Bayless. Fighters should fight out of clinches, not let the ref do their job and fight their fights.Watch the first rounds and how Floyd approached them, in the first fight Floyd was content to let Maidana get after him early, which helped Maidana gain confidence that helped him all fight long. In this fight Floyd never let Maidana get started like that which changes a lot about the flow of the fight.
Floyd fought that fight a lot differently that included more clinching and more movement, which is usually effective on wild guys like Maidana who need room to really operate and to be set.
If you can't tell how Floyd approached these two fights differently, then what is there to really talk with you about here? If a guy can't deal with a ref calling a fight a certain way then that is their problem for not being good enough, which was exactly Maidana's issue tonight once again.
Even looking beyond Bayless, Floyd got cornered into the ropes ALOT more in this fight than the last which tells me Maidana improved in cutting the ring. You look and count the number of times Maidana got Floyd's back to the ropes, forcing him to clinch.
Tell me how many clinches Mayweather initiated off the ropes, and i could tell you how many times Maidana was successful in getting Floyd trapped against the ropes.
And that was excessive clinching in it'self. If you could say thats the way the game is, you could say Bayless bailled him out everytime he was against the ropes.Comment

Floyd still has plenty left to win, maidana is no easy fight, he will go on to beat up more fighters like himself. Floyd is good, maidana makes you work, it could of been a lot uglier and would have for any other fighterComment

The fighter has to play to the ref, a fighter going against what the ref is doing is how you lose fights badly either through getting bullied when a ref is lenient or the other guy will be able to use their boxing skills because a ref is very strict.
Floyd played it exactly right to win wide Maidana had no answer. Floyd had to fight Maidana's fight last time and won anyway, if Maidana was the better man he would have made it work plain and simple like Floyd did.Comment

After what I saw tonight and I think Manny KO's Mayweather it might even be "easywork" lol
I have never thought Manny could KO Floyd because of his defense but now IDK.Comment

I can't see the Pac vs Joy jr fight happening
based on the outrageous demands made by Joyjr.
Its not about the money so much as its about VEGAS, REFS and JUDGES.
Go fight in Texas at Jerry Jones place. Get Smoger as the Ref, Quit crying about the gloves
give Joy 60 percent and Pac 40 percent, if you don't like that , then NAME the fighter Joy jr has fought that demands Pac to bow down to him to his demands.
Name the defining Prime WW Elite Jr has fought that makes him so great.
Don't hide behind wins produced by interfering Refs or bowing to demands.
Pac will really mess JOY jr UP,
The Rabbit Ran tonite !! hahahaha still got a big nose and fat lip hahahahaComment

The whole fight a clinchfest with Bayless stopping the action, not even letting them fight out of the clinch. I saw Bayless work more than either fighter tonight. No one impressed tonight.
cr#p card from top to bottom. Even predicted this.Comment
