he dominated canelo because canelo didn't apply any pressure at all and constantly tried to counter. a year may not seem like much to you but its from age 36 ,37, to almost 38 is a difference. reflexes are slowing down.

Styles make fights, and Maidana is very different from Canelo. Canelo wouldn't have the same success at all if he applied pressure the same. Keep in mind, Canelo gasses early. Doesn't have great stamina.

something was definately wrong with the referee, you can't grab and hold constantly like that without a warning and point deductions. Bayless didnt do his job properly, but it is expected because boxing is so corrupt when so much money is involved.
