How come no one is ever calling for a Mathysse-Maidana fight?

No one said it's the perfect fight, or ideal for the moment. I'm just wondering why more people haven't asked for it.

If they can get bigger fights than ok, I just don't understand people saying these two shouldn't ever fight because they "don't want to" lol and its the same people who are constantly crying about them being "ducked" and other fighters being "cowards"

Khan has bigger fish he wants to fry. Manny hasn't been fighting Ww's like Maidana lately-mostly JWW moving up or with a few fights at ww. Besides, roach said if not Floyd @ 147 then Manny is going back to JWW.

Saying it makes no sense sounds really ridiculous. Even more so the excuses about 140/147 or because they are from the same country. The same people throwing out the red carpet excuses would be the same one who would critise American fighters or British fighters in the same situation.

Precisely. Don't use fanboy ism to justify something that isn't an accurate outlook. "It makes no sense" "they don't want to."

Those are not valid reasons, imo.

This is like than when Broner says he doesn't want to fight other black fighters cos they're "big brothers"

You guys are just as bad ffs. The hypocrisy is incredible.

It makes sense. Not as of now.

Both guys are loved in their country, they're not calling each other out & it has been settled in the past that they don't wanna face each other. These guys aren't like Khan & Brook...none of them are even saying that they're the top dog in Argentina or anything of that sort. And they're not even in the same weight class.

Those are the reasons no one is calling for Lucas-Maidana to happen.

This is just like Broner-Peterson, that fight is never gonna happen coz they're like brothers.

Even though it's not the same situation?

They ate, slept, and trained together from a young age. Illegally jumped on busses to catch ammy fights. Matthysse gave Maidana his first tattoo.

They haven't declined a fight. They said it makes no sense now. Which it doesn't. How does it make sense right now? Explain to me.

You have Garcia saying he would never fight Broner. Now how does that make sense. Those two have zero connection.

Im pretty sure Dean is more involved with the Argentinian community than you. So why are you trying to tell him otherwise?
