What do you mean it makes no sense? What about the sense it makes that they are both good action packed fighters and should make for a good fight. They both are around the same weight, from the same country, see who's the top dog...

Because Matthysse is at 140 trying to get a belt and Maidana is at 147 fighting Mayweather.

They're no where near a fight making sense. It's a media driven hype that has since ended when both guys scoffed at it, because it didn't make sense, and makes even less sense now.

people loves them, they are seen like brothers. when was the last time argentina had fighters at this level? you have to go back to monzon and galindez maybe. and at this point, if they fight each others they careers will be over, this guy will kill each other in there.
