How come no one is ever calling for a Mathysse-Maidana fight?

Why doesn't this make sense? Sounds like a terrible excuse.
Because Matthysse is at 140 trying to get a belt and Maidana is at 147 fighting Mayweather.

They're no where near a fight making sense. It's a media driven hype that has since ended when both guys scoffed at it, because it didn't make sense, and makes even less sense now.

Why would they fight each other? It makes no sense.
It makes no sense for two exciting knockout artists from the same country to fight each other?

They said they dont wanna fight each other but if they had to they would. Problem is, they DONT have to. The fight makes no sense besides some $$$ in Argentina.

yea... i dont see the point, maidana win or lose should fight pacquiao if he can and matthysse stay trying to get a fight with garcia

dont feel it would do anything for their legacy either, some change in argentina like others have said, about it and a bloody mess

Nobody in Argentina wants to see a fight between two of their best fighters?

                What?

what point would maidana have in beating a perfectly comfortable 140lb'er at 147 when he can spend his time trying to fight khan or pac for a bigger purse

As a fan of boxing, and a fan of potential great fights: it makes no sense to me that you guys would say this fight "makes no sense."

To me, it sounds like because they made some pact, that you guys are justifying it with excuses.

people loves them, they are seen like brothers. when was the last time argentina had fighters at this level? you have to go back to monzon and galindez maybe. and at this point, if they fight each others they careers will be over, this guy will kill each other in there.
