AB was built up to his first 3 titles.

He will not win a title at 147, but will be competitive at 140.

His 'problem' is always going to be against pressure fighters at 140 or 147.

AB cannot fight on the back foot and lacks real defensive footwork / movement.

Interesting, entertaining, annoying and average - in any order you choose.

I'd venture Broner won a few people over last weekend. Good fight, mostly good post-fight interview.

Adrien Broner is a 3 division champion who's biggest win is against Pauli Malignaggi.

Wasn't Ponce de Leon a better fighter? I'd say:

2. Malignaggi
3. De Marco
4. Rees
5. Taylor

3 titles in 3 divisions, it's not bad for a 24 year old.

Had he had another performance like he had his last few fights I was going to stop paying attention all together. I think he is very talented, he just lacks dedication and professionalism.

Thought he fought well this weekend, especially rounds 10 and 12. Hopefully, he has turned the corner in terms of being a professional man.

I'd say he's on the verge of people caring like they used to. He beats Matthysse, it won't quite be like the Maidana fight never happened but it will be close enough to make no difference.

Interesting Taylor was owning the 12th round until the KD. Would have been a 10-8 round the other way without the last 20 seconds. Broner will get swallowed whole by the next in fighter he faces. Holy crap Broner has a great chin! But, it's so easy to tell when he gets popped hard (shaking his head)

1. Is a complete and utter moron.
2. His resume sucks so i give him only a tiny bit of credit for his meaningless belts he has won.
3. He is a racist piece of shlt.

I became bored about half way thru myself. Ended up watching City of God on another channel and tuned back when the decision was being made.

Broner is still a developing fighter and he does show some glimpses of world class talent, and i believe if he puts it together big IF then he will cause anyone problems at 140 or 147, to say he wont be a factor at 147 is bull**** he will grow into 147 fine

he just bit off more then he could chew with midana because he aint a cherry picker....
