Is it even necessary to discuss this?

Every legit boxing fan knows what this is.

Lol! It's not that Rigodeaux doesn't bring money that worries them, what really worries them is the A$$ WHIPPIN Rigo brings to the ring & will tax that on Frampton all night.

Of course, I like Rigo's style so i'm excluded from this, but the majority of people don't like his style. Beating Rigondeaux would be impossible for Frampton, or anyone in his weight class, and losing to Rigo wouldn't be worth it money wise.

UK fans support their fighters like Mexico and Puerto Rico support theirs. Rigo has no backing either from Cuba or his adopted home of United States. The fans you see of Rigo on boxing forums are literally his only fans. If you want to push it, Rigo may have about a thousand supporting fans worldwide.
This is ridiculous and I disagree. How many Spaniards made the trip to Belfast to watch Kiko Martinez? I didn't see a lot of Spanish flags in the audience.

Frampton alone is a massive draw in Belfast. His fight with Kiko did what? 16,000. The fact that it was a title fight probably created even more intrigue than before. Is Kiko a bigger draw, and a bigger name than Rigo? Absolutely not!

I don't buy this whole "negative style" thing. Are you trying to say that if he were to choose to fight Rigo that all of a sudden no one would show up? That people would "throw up" (quoting HBO) at the thought of fighting Rigo that it would be a financial disaster? I think that's nonsense. I think the fans in Belfast will be very intrigued of the prospect of Frampton becoming an undisputed Champion, and becoming recognized as the best in the weight class. That creates interest and if that fight gets made it will probably be a much bigger event than the Martinez fight was.

Not the point. The Scott Quigg fight is a massive fight in the UK. They could potentially move it to an even bigger arena and the purse would be huge.

Frampton will draw against whoever in Belfast but it has to be worth the money to fight someone of Rigondeaux's calibre. You don't want to get paid the same for fighting Kiko Martinez as you do fighting Rigo. It's all relative. It's basic common sense.

Frampton capture his title on Saturday in Belfast, with a twelve round decision over Kiko Martinez. He would prefer a unification with the WBA's 'regular' champion Scott Quigg or WBC titleholder Leo Santa Cruz.

The simple truth...Frampton vs Quigg is biggest money fight for Frampton. Assuming that he wins Frampton vs Sata Cruz would be HUGE.Rigo doesn't sell tickets or bring any tv money, that is the simple economics of the sport.
