He sure is. I wish him success after Taylor whips his ass.
Adrien Broner is Good For Boxing

I don't find this funny at all.
But I have found him funny in the past.
And he's definitely good for boxing. If he was better he'd be great for boxing.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 09-04-2014, 06:32 PM.Comment

Yeah that wasn't his funniest stuff, it was just what I saw today and laughed. Think it was a nod to the fact that his last couple opponents didn't speak English.
It's good to see him at least trying to be creative and funny in his press conferences. Bored of all these straight faced dullards saying the same **** over n over.Comment

I agree. Floyds shtick got tiresome a long time ago.Yeah that wasn't his funniest stuff, it was just what I saw today and laughed. Think it was a nod to the fact that his last couple opponents didn't speak English.

I found the Pauli build up funny. When he was walking through Paulis strengths and he said "devastating puncher" I found that funny.
I just think he try's abit too hard, and definitely try's to hard to be like Floyd.
I'd like him a lot more if he was a better fighter.Comment

The sport is stacked with brilliant, compelling characters. Just cos they don't clown around like an imbecile doesn't mean they are not. Then it comes down to one's definition of a great character. I find something like Ruslan in the Alvarado Face-Off infinitely more interesting than Broner playing up.
Hopkins, GGG, Froch, Wlad, Chisora, Fury, Chino, Ward, Rios, Thurman, Martinez, Canelo, Groves.
I hate Floyd but him, Uncle Roger and Floyd Sr are seriously unique characters. All from one family.
Freddie Roach, Ruben Guerrero, Angel Garcia. Wild, opinionated characters.
Broner occasionally comes out with a comedic gem but the idea that his is some dynamic personality that stands out in a pool of average characters.....please. It's easy to clown around. It's harder to be compelling.Comment

I don't remember saying anything about him having a "dynamic personality". I'm fully aware that most of what he does is juvenile. So are fart jokes but sometimes I laugh hard at them. And I'm an intelligent, educated person. I just don't constantly have a stick up my arse. I'm not saying he's Oscar Wilde. Not everything has to be "compelling" to be entertaining. The sport is stacked with brilliant, compelling characters. Just cos they don't clown around like an imbecile doesn't mean they are not. I don't know what's so compelling about Golovkin, Ward, Wlad, Canelo, Thurman, Sergio Martinez or Maidana anyway.Comment
