Clown, cotto is not contracted with TR or Arum in any way. Just uses TR to promote his fights, same way Floyd uses GBP. Is on a fight - to-fight basis. Cotto could easily have GBP or TMT promote his next fight for a Floyd rematch. In addition, TMT just received their promotional license is NY, so a possible cottovsFloyd rematch is very likely at MSG where Floyd has never fought and has always wanted to.

Nobody can seem to answer this, so I'll ask yet again.

Why do people keep saying Cotto/Mayweather II is going to happen, when Cotto is contracted with Arum? Is Mayweather suddenly going to deal with Arum after he kept going on and on about not fighting Pac because of Arum.

If Mayweather fights Cotto with Arum being involed, Mayweather will cement his legacy as the biggest duck in the history of boxing.

Its not the first time mayweather was found to be a hypocrite and contradicts himself.

And he said he would like to finish his career with TR, but nothing is in contract, meaning he could do as he pleases. Money talks, for the right amount im sure he'll fight elsewhere

If what Todd DeBeouf is saying is true, that Cotto is looking towards late Feb early March to return, then Canelo in May is def outta the picture. You people are fooling yourselves if you think if Cotto is gonna make that quick turnaround. You can tell he's not looking to fight anymore. If he could squirm his way to fighting only once a year and getting a good payday then so be it. I wouldn't be surprised if this was his way of ducking Canelo.

I'm not liking this, u know why? because if Canelo vs Cotto happens on May 2015, then Miguel would be taking almost a year of inactivity, say what you want but unless you Floyd Mayweather inactivity is gonna pay you back hard time.

That's the thing inactivity lessens your sharpness and skills aren't as keen. That's basic. Even Mayweather will be effected. He is not a machine. Mayweather however, unlike anyone else doesn't sit on his ass between fights. To be as sharp as he is I strongly believe he trains and spars year round. I doubt cotto or anyone else does. Skills need to be kept sharp. Inactivity is a boxers enemy. So if cotto sit out till may he better do something to keep sharp. Otherwiise hes toast if me faces may or canelo in may. If he trains and spars I think he will wreck canelo and probably beat mayweather in may. Time will tell.

He said early next year, early is not May and who is to say he even fights on Cinco de Mayo if Mayweather does end up fighting Floyd? Maybe they make the fight the weekend of the PR parade in June in NYC. If Cotto were to fight in Jan. or Feb. there's plenty of rest for a June fight.

For the love of god I hope your thoughts pan out. Cotto/Canelo at MSG in PR weekend would be absolutely out of control. I will be there. Cotto can do mayweather in sept. Then retire Godlike if he were to win both fights.

Because is under know "contract with arum" as far as I am aware. They only have a gentlemens agreement. If mar/cotto two is offered to cotto I assure any of you cotto will not be fighting under top rank for that fight.
