respectfully dude, you can't try and evaluate this in the context of a line he used to hype the Cotto fight and make cotto look more of a threat because he had lost previously to manny and margs. That's a tactic evol uses.

your posts suggest you are smart enough to know that so I'm not going to play with you. If you want to debate, fine.

flexing ur power to see who walks out first, who gets announce last, money split etc. thats fine, like u said a champ worked hard to get to this spot. but flexing ur power to make ur opponent wear some different brand of gloves that he is not use too and to make matters worst floyd keeps on trashing maidana still. u can be a fan of floyd or not, call it what u want but thats a biiatch move.

Cuz he's full of ****. He ****ted on PAC for using a catchweight vs Cotto and bragged about fighting Cotto at 154 then goes and drains Canelo 2 pounds. He talked about wanting his opponents comfortable then goes and makes Maidana uncomfortable cuz he hits a little too hard.

LOL definitely a pu55y move to dictate gloves yet again. Same goes for ODH dictating gloves against Floyd. Floyd is so much smaller than ODH! But don't forget to mention that Floyd didn't mind because he has brittle hands.

You work to get to this point. You work to get to the point where you make world class opposition fight on your terms. You work to get to the point where you dictate to the opponent to gain any mental advantage you can. You work to get to the point where you are the focal point of which EVERYTHING in the promotion revolves around you.
Oscar, Sugar Ray, didn't pull a bait and switch, then justify it by saying, I am the a side.

Hagler isn't saying 20 years later, that Sugar Ray bait and switched gloves on me, and it affected the outcome of the fight.

When all else fails, blame it on being the a side. Lol

i wasnt even reffering to what he said to cotto because if u listen to his interview he brings that part up everytime. the part about how he wants his opponents at their best, he just didnt start saying that for cotto.

Maidana isn't saying that either. SO what exactly is your point?

hahahaha thats a good floydiot excuse. 154 lbs REQUIRE 10 oz gloves, also, it was in the CONTRACT, unlike what floyd did to maidana, which was NOT in their contract.
