Floyd is surely making Maidana wear the gloves for those reasons-and is surely trying to sway casual fan opinion to his side by comparing him to Margs.

I said the Margs point was ******. I'm not changing my position on glove choice or any other a side advantage.

When it comes to who gets more money or who's name is first and who comes out second, I'm ok with it cuz I just wanna see the actual fight. But what Floyd is doing impacts the actual fight. And he looks like a straight up b1tch. You know it too. It's cool though, I still ****s with u.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a couple years after Floyd's retirement we find out he "owes" Ellerbe a significant portion of his money like Don King used to do with his fighters once he was done milking them.

Floyd is illiterate and it's pretty clear Ellerbe comes up with all of these schemes about gloves and whatnot. He runs Floyd's life and Floyd just shows up and punches something a couple times a year.

I've answered the same question dozens of times the same way. Floyd is exercising the control and privilege that comes with the position of top draw in the sport. Accept it and move on.

You and others can say its solely because he is afraid of Maidana's power-very fair point which I don't dispute.
